(S) Take Rue du 19 Mars 1962 opposite and to the left of the church, which runs alongside the tourist office, heading east. After 150 m, cross the Route de Malbouzon (D987) and take the Route de Marvejols (D900) opposite. To avoid the tarmac, the path immediately follows a parallel route to the right of the road. Pass the cemetery and, 100 m further on, you will reach a crossroads (cross).

(1) Turn left, taking care not to continue on theGR®®670Chemin Urbain V. Then, after a few metres, take the path on the right. Continue straight ahead on this path, ignoring the paths and roads on the right and left. After about 2 km, you will arrive at Montgros.
(2) Continue along the main road towards the east. About 350 m after leaving the village, take the path on the left (the road on the right leads to the D900). After about 500 m, the path joins the D900, just before the bridge over the Bès (Pont de Marchestel or Pont de Bouquincan).
(3) Just after the bridge, at the fork, turn left, heading north. After 2 km, you will arrive at Rieutort d'Aubrac and the junction with the Marchastel road (shelter (former bread oven), drinking troughs and tables).
(4) Turn left, heading north-east. After 1 km, a path branches off to the right.
(5) Turn right towards the east; the path climbs and, after about 600 m, at the fork, turn left and go around the Puech Redoun. After climbing for about 1 km, you will arrive at the Roc des Loups (spectacular boulders broken in two).
(6) Continue along the gently descending path towards Finieyrols for 1 km (road).
(7) Cross the hamlet of Finieyrols and continue along the road until you reach the junction with the D73, 400 m away (stone marker). Cross the D73 and continue straight ahead. The road becomes a track after 150 m. Continue north-east for almost 3 km until you reach the junction with another road near the Moulin de la Folle.
(8) Cross the road and continue straight ahead. 500 m further on, at the start of a path on the right (variant of the Tour des Monts d'Aubrac towards Prinsuéjols), make sure you continue straight ahead on theGR®®65. Continue north-east until you reach Quatre Chemins (crossroads with the D53).
(9) Continue along the path opposite, still heading north-east, ignoring the paths coming from the right. After about 2 km, the path becomes a road, joining a path coming from the right (cross). Follow the road for about 100 metres until you reach a path on the right.

(10) Turn right, leaving theGRP®® Tour des Monts d'Aubrac, which you followed during thefirst stage of the 5-day Tour des Monts d'Aubrac. After a Z-bend heading south and returning to the tarmac, the path joins the D987 and arrives at Lasbros.
(11) Cross the village, staying on the D987 until you reach the Chapelle de Bastide, 1 km away.
(12) Take the road on the right towards the south-east until you reach Chaze-de-Peyre. At the entrance to the village, you will cross the D69.
(13) Take the D69 south, then turn left about 50 metres further on. At the fork at the cemetery (inside the village), turn left, then at the second fork before the second cemetery outside the walls, turn left again. As the road curves further south, about 1 km after leaving the village, you will come to a junction with a track (cross).
(14) Turn left. The track, heading north-east and lined with woods, passes under the motorway after almost 2 km and joins the road just before the Beauregard district of Aumont-Aubrac. At the beginning of the houses, turn left onto a path heading north-east which joins a road before running alongside the railway line heading north. At the junction with the D50, pass under the railway bridge, continue along the main street of Aumont-Aubrac heading north, and arrive at Place du Portail (town hall, fountain topped by the Beast of Gévaudan), the end of this tour (E).
