Circular via Montignac-Lascaux and Valojoulx

Departure from Place Bertran de Born.

(S/E) With your back to the cinema, turn right onto Rue du 4 Septembre and walk past the priory to reach the junction with Avenue de Lascaux.

(1) Turn right towards La Chapelle Aubareil. Continue to the junction with the sign for "gisement du Regourdou".

(2) Turn left towards the site on Chemin Roger Constant. Follow this road to the junction with Route des Compouzines.

(3) Continue left towards the hamlet of Les Compouzines. Pass the hamlet and you will come to a star-shaped fork in the road and a sign for "Le Posadou".

(4) Take the track on the right towards the locality on the castine path. Stay on this path until you reach the road.

(5) Cross the road and continue straight ahead on the gravel path, then continue on the tarmac road until you reach the junction with Route du Fraysse.

(6) Turn right towards Montignac via the road (cycle route) and continue to the river

(7) Turn right and follow the Vézère river until you reach the sign for "Chemin de Gouny".

(8) Turn right towards Gouny and continue to the end of the road on Rue du Barry.

(9) Continue left to follow "autres directions" (other directions), then turn quickly left onto Rue Émile Lajurias. At the end of the street, turn right to return to Place Bertran de Born (S/E).

Follow the cycle route signs (white bicycle on a green background) with the red dot no. 10.

(S/E) Public toilets on Place du Prieuré next to the tourist office / charging stations at the entrance to the Place Bertran de Born car park (green and grey boxes).

(2) Continue straight ahead to visit Lascaux IV (280 m).

(3) Take the road on the right to visit the Regourdou site (200 m) and Lascaux II (1.1 km).
