Circular via Montignac-Lascaux and Aubas

Departure from Place Bertrand de Born.

(S/E) From the square, turn right onto Rue de la Liberté and continue straight on until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along Rue du 4 Septembre.

(1) At the roundabout, continue straight ahead towards Sarlat, then quickly turn left onto Chemin des Granges. Continue left to the end of the street (junction with Route de Montignac).

(2) Take the road on the left for 250 metres. First turn right then left and continue to the stop sign and Rue des Cacalous.

(3) Continue straight ahead towards Aubas and reach a four-way crossroads after the hamlet (Route de Sauvebœuf).

(4) Go straight ahead towards Château de Sauveboeuf. Pass the château on your left and you will come to a junction with Route de la Tranchée.

(5) At the small stone house, take the road on the right and continue until you reach the path you took on the way there.

(3) Continue straight ahead and go to the next fork on Route de Montignac. Go straight ahead to the crossroads you passed on the way there.

(2) Turn right to return to Place Bertrand de Bornt via the same route you took on the way there (S/E).

Follow the cycle route signs (white bicycle on a green background) with the green sticker no. 11.

(S/E) Public toilets on Place du Prieuré next to the tourist office / charging stations at the entrance to the car park on Place Bertran de Born (green and grey boxes).

Between (S/E) and (1), turn right onto Avenue de Lascaux to visit Lascaux IV (900 m) and Lascaux II (2 km).
