Circular via Rouffignac and Plazac

Departure from Place Simone Veil.

(S/E) With your back to the town hall, turn left towards the Jardin de la Falquette and the roundabout.

(1) Turn left towards Montignac (D6) and continue to the entrance to the village of Plazac and the Route de Fanlac.

(2) Turn left towards Fanlac and take the first street on the left to continue on Route de Fanlac. Continue to the end of the hill, at the crossroads of Quatre Cendriers and Route des Canons.

(3) Turn right onto Route des Canons, towards Montignac/Thonac. Continue to Chemin de Boscara.

(4) At the crossroads, follow Chemin de Boscara to the right until you reach the stop sign.

(5) Take the D45 on the right and continue to the end of Route de Thonac (on Route du Moustier).

(6) At the stop sign, take the D6 on the left towards Les Eyzies and continue to Route du Moulin du Peuch.

(7) Turn right towards Fleurac/Rouffignac (cycle route) and continue to the give way sign.

(8) Continue right on the D31 until the next junction.

(9) Stay on the D31, ignore the sign for Plazac, and continue to the village of Rouffignac at the supermarket roundabout.

(10) Continue straight on towards the town centre until you reach the roundabout you have already passed.

(1) Return to Place Simone Veil by following the same route in reverse (S/E).

(S/E) Public toilets on the market square (opposite Place Simone Veil).

(2) Continuing straight on to the village of Plazac, public toilets next to the municipal post office.

(S/E) Memorial to 31 March 1944.

(2) Continue straight ahead to visit the village of Plazac: Plazac Medieval Garden and Plazac Castle Church (450 m).
