(S/E) Start from Fléville-devant-Nancy, L’Orée du Bois housing estate, car park at the Armsheim roundabout (Maisons des Associations). Join the cycle path and turn right towards the village.
(1) At the sewage treatment plant, turn left, cross the D71 at the pedestrian crossing, and take the cycle path to reach the canal.
(2) At the canal, turn left onto the cycle path.
(3) At lock no. 11, turn right, cross the canal and take the path on the right, continuing along the path to the top of the hill.
(4) At the junction at the top of the hill, turn left and head down towards Laneuveville-devant-Nancy, continue along Rue de Gérardcourt, pass the EDF centre, then cross over the railway line and reach a roundabout.
(5) At the roundabout, turn right, then left to cross the D400 at the pedestrian crossings, and continue straight on along Rue de la Libération, passing over the Marne-Rhine Canal.
(6) After the bridge, turn left and continue along the path (in dry weather, you can take the small path alongside the canal). At the junction with Route d’Art-sur-Meurthe, turn left and take the bridge over the canal.
(7) After the bridge, turn right onto the cycle path, follow the canal, go under the road bridge, and continue along the cycle path to reach lock no. 12.
(8) When you reach the lock, turn right, take the small staircase, cross the canal and turn left onto the cycle path, continuing straight on to reach lock no. 11.
At the lock, cross the road and continue straight ahead on the cycle path.
(2) At the wooden barriers, turn right and join the D71.
(1) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn right onto the cycle path to reach the car park (S/E).
