Start from the car park of the village hall in Fléville.
(S/E) Join and follow the D71 road on the left-hand pavement and take the first path on the left leading to the canal.
(1) When you reach the canal and lock no. 9, go straight ahead and cross the canal via the bridge. After a slight right turn, pass under the electric line and continue to a four-way intersection.
(2) At the intersection, turn left and head towards the farm on the right.
(3) At the farm, go straight ahead, passing a road on your right and then three roads on your left. You will arrive in Laneuveville before Nancy at a place called Les Jablins.
(4) Turn slightly left and continue straight ahead in Laneuveville until you reach the roundabout just after the railway bridge.
(5) Cross the roundabout on the left to reach Place de la Libération and turn left. Pass under the high-voltage line and then cross the bridge over the canal.
(6) After crossing the canal, turn left. Follow the canal until you reach the intersection with the Art-sur-Meurthe road.
(7) Follow the road to the left and cross it before the bridge over the canal. Cross the bridge, go down to the right and follow the car park along the Canal de Jonction. Pass under the Laneuveville road bridge and continue along the canal road to the footbridge over the canal at lock no. 12.
(8) Cross the footbridge and turn left along the Canal de Jonction on the cycle path. Continue to lock no. 11.
(9) Cross the Fléville road with great care and continue straight ahead.
(10) When you reach lock no. 10, continue for about 150 metres to reach lock no. 9.
(1) Turn right to reach the village hall car park (S/E).
