Preliminary note

Start
The hike starts at the car park of the Pontcarré Town Hall.
(S/E) Take the Grande Rue on the left and, before the church, turn right onto Chemin de la Cendre. This road runs alongside the square and then takes a very narrow passage between a masonry wall on the left and a hedge on the right. It joins a wider path bordered by a wall on the left and marked GR®.
GR® markings (red and white)
(1) Turn right onto this path and a little further on you will pass under the D471. Continue and, at the crossroads, turn left onto Route de la Guillaumetterie; the path continues along a wall until you reach the Carrefour de la Grille de la Planchette, in the centre of which stands a signpost.
(2) Take Route de la Planchette (GR®14) on your right and continue to the next signpost.
(3) Turn right again to follow Route de la Croisette.
(4) At the Carrefour du Chenot, turn left onto the Route Forestière de la Barrière Noire and continue until you reach the second crossroads.
(5) Turn right onto a very wide grassy track about ten metres wide that takes you to the Carrefour des Trois Mares.
(6) Continue left on the paved road for about 200 metres, then turn left onto the path that winds for about one kilometre before joining a forest road at the Carrefour des Étangs, where theGR® trail branches off to the left.
No signposts
(7) Turn right. After about one kilometre, you will cross the D471. Continue straight ahead for another kilometre and you will arrive next to Ozoir-la-Ferrière station. Turn right and continue to the entrance of the passage under the railway line without crossing it.
PR® signposting (yellow)
(8) Cross the concrete bridge over the stream and turn right onto the path that leads away from the railway line. It crosses the Route Forestière des Charbonniers at the forest plot marker 37, where you will find theGR® signposting.
GR® signpost (red and white)
(9) Turn left onto this forest road. Cross the Carrefour du Sanglier, then the Carrefour des Usuelles, and at the next crossroads you will find a signpost in the centre.
(10) Turn left onto the Route des Princes and cross the D21.
(11) At the Carrefour des Botteaux, turn right into the Station alley. TheGR® turns left 400 m further on.
No signposts
Continue straight ahead. At the next signpost, turn slightly right onto Allée de la Ferrandière.

(12) At the crossroads, take the path on the right. After 200 metres, you will arrive near the hedge surrounding several houses. Turn right, then cross the hedge on the left to enter Rue du Papillon. At the end of this street, opposite No. 28, turn right and then take Rue du Petit Duc on the left.
(13) At Rue Lady Beauty Fidney, turn left, then left again at the next street and continue. At the second intersection, turn right onto Rue de la Solitude. You will see the Pontcarré Town Hall straight ahead. Continue to the car park (S/E).
