Park in the Allée des Lions car park on the D471 between Collégien and Pontcarré.
(S/E) Take the magnificent Allée des Séquoias and you will soon reach a four-way crossroads.
(1) Turn left, north-east, onto the path to reach the Étang de Taffarette and the Ru de la Brosse.
(2) Turn left to admire the old laundry room of the Château de Ferrières-en-Brie, built by Joseph Froelicher in 1840.
(3) Turn around and walk along the pond, following thePR® trail, until you reach the bridge at the end of the pond.
(4) Cross the bridge and, still following the PR®, turn right towards the north-east and take a small staircase to reach the foot of the bell tower of the Church of Saint-Rémy in Ferrières-en-Brie.
(5) Go around it and turn right, heading south-east, onto Rue Jean Jaurès. At the bend, turn left onto Rue Roger Salengro and continue to Rue du Château.
(6) Turn right, then walk along the pond until you reach a four-way intersection at the main entrance to the château.
(7) Continue straight ahead to walk along a second pond and reach a pedestrian gate.
(8) Go through this gate, which is always open, and enter the forest to reach the large crossroads at Grille de Belle Assise.
(9) Continue to the right, heading south, on Chemin de la Rucherie until you reach the Grille de la Planchette crossroads.
(10) Turn right onto Route de la Guillaumetterie, which is also theGRP® de la Brie Verte marked in yellow and red. Be careful here: the path can be muddy in bad weather. Turn right again to reach the underpass beneath the D471.
(11) Take this and continue straight ahead to reach the village of Pontcarré, then turn left onto a path behind the cemetery. You will arrive at Saint-Roch Church.
(12) Cross over to take Rue de la Bretèche and, continuing to the right, turn left into the magnificent Allée de la Ferrandière. You will come out at the Carrefour de la Ferrandière and the picnic area.
(13) Continue straight ahead on theGRP®. Keep to the right at the next bend. Cross Route de Roissy and you will come to a T-junction before Allée du Tour du Parc.
(14) Turn left, cross the Château de Croissy path, and pass to the left of the Mare du Cormier. You will soon come to a new crossroads with four perpendicular directions.
(15) Leave theGRP® here and turn right onto Allée du Tour du Parc, then turn right again onto Carrefour de la Demi Lune.
(16) Turn left onto Allée Saint-Charles, walk along a fenced property on your left and reach Carrefour Saint-Charles.
(17) Turn left onto Allée du Tour du Parc, continuing to follow this property, to reach Carrefour de Lamirault.
(18) Turn right and, following a completely straight section, reach Rond-Point de Piscop, cross the D471 very carefully and return to the Allée des Lions car park (S/E).
