Park in the Allée des Lions car park.
(S/E) Take the magnificent sequoia avenue.
(1) Turn left, to the north-east, onto a path that leads to the Étang de Taffarette and the Ru de la Brosse.
(2) Turn left to admire the old laundry room of the Château de Ferrières-en-Brie, built by Joseph Froelicher in 1840.
(3) Turn around and walk along the pond, following the PR®.
(4) Cross a small wooden bridge, then, still following thePR®, turn right towards the north-east and take a small staircase to reach the foot of the bell tower of the Church of Saint-Rémy in Ferrières-en-Brie.
(5) Go around it and turn right, heading south-east, onto Rue Jean Jaurès.
(6) At the bend, turn left onto Rue Roger Salengro and continue to Rue du Château.
(7) Turn right, then walk along the pond.
(8) Walk up to the main entrance of the château, built for Baron James de Rothschild by English architect Joseph Paxton. Walk along a second pond.
(9) Take a pedestrian gate, which is always open, and arrive at the Belle Assise gate.
(10) Continue south on Chemin de la Rucherie until you reach the Carrefour de la Grille de la Planchette.
(11) Turn right onto Route de la Guillaumetterie. The path may be muddy in bad weather. Turn right again towards the underpass beneath the D471.
::12 Continue straight on Pontcarré and turn left onto a path behind the cemetery.
(13) When you reach Saint Roch Church, cross over to Rue de la Breteche and, continuing to the right, turn left into the magnificent Allée de la Ferrandière. You will come out at the crossroads of the same name.
(14) Turn right, north-west, to reach the Carrefour du Pas du Cheval.
(15) Head north-northeast through Taillis Ferrand, a small path that goes around La Tuilerie, and then follow a northeast path that leads to an old road. Turn left onto this road.
(16) Taking great care, cross the D471 and rejoin thePR® opposite. Follow the path to reach the car park (S/E).
