The departure point is at the canoe base located at the foot of the Pont de Vicq (or Vic) bridge, on the left bank of the Dordogne, opposite the hiking information board. Follow the yellow markings.
(S/E) Take the towpath along the campsite and pass the picnic area. Turn right, follow the road for about 100 metres and turn left towards the church.
(1) Walk past the church, along the cemetery and turn left then right. Follow the path past a calvary to the Siorac road (D25).
(2) Cross the road carefully, continue straight ahead towards La Falconnie and cross level crossing No. 327. Follow the road on the right at the next fork and go down to the pavilion.
(3) At the bend, near a small wayside cross, turn right and then left after the house. Cross the farmyard of the house called "Le Rêve de Cyprien". Continue along the path until you reach the road.
(4) At the intersection, first turn right then left and continue along the path until you reach the next road, passing close to an antenna.
(5) Turn right and, after 80 metres, turn left towards Scarpat. Follow the road, which leads to a path, then back to a road. Turn right until you reach the Croix de Carême.
(6) Turn right and then immediately left towards Crompe Basse. At the end of the road, turn left to the hamlet of Parisot and turn right to reach the D25 road.
(7) Cross with caution. After a right/left turn, continue straight ahead, walk along the pond and turn right. Follow this very pleasant path to the next road.
(8) Cross with caution and continue along the path to the next crossroads.
(9) At the stop sign, turn left and take the road to the hamlet of Le Roussel. Turn right onto a winding road that leads to the Bergerac road (D29).
(10) Cross carefully and continue straight ahead. The road crosses the industrial estate. Turn left at the end, then right at the borrie.
(11) Cross the pretty hamlet of La Bouygue and continue along the towpath that leads to the entrance of the Pont de Vicq campsite on the D51. Turn left, then leave the road to reach the public car park at the canoe base (S/E).
