From Le Bugue, take the D703 towards Pézuls, and after two kilometres, immediately after the first stream, turn left onto the D31. Drive to Limeuil and park at Place du Port.
(S/E) From the square, cross the Route de la Dordogne to continue along the street opposite and pass under the medieval gate. Continue to Rue du Port.
(1) Turn right onto this street and continue towards the upper part of the village. Keep to the right until you reach Place des Fossés.
(2) Keep going straight on, then take the first left at the junction (Rue de la Porte de Marquisat). Walk past Sainte-Catherine Church and continue to the medieval gate on the Route des Crêtes.
(3) Follow the tarmac road, leave the village and reach the first path on the left
(4) Turn left onto this path, following the PR® (yellow) and GR® (white and red) markings. Keep going straight on until you reach the next road.
(5) Turn left onto the tarmac road and continue straight on until the next hairpin bend on the right.
(6) Turn right at Bois d'Amour and follow the path through the woods. Continue straight on at the first fork to reach a second one.
(7) Take the path on the right and follow it to the tarmac road.
(8) Continue straight on twice and pass a water reservoir. Then head straight on along a shortcut to rejoin the road on the left and arrive at Queyrelevat, at the Route de Carlux.
(9) Turn right onto the small tarmac road until you reach the junction, after Carlux, with the Chemin de la Porte.
(10) Cross the road and continue left along the path to descend into the valley and pass in front of Queynat Castle.
(11) Turn left onto the path and walk past the La Tour estate
(12) Cross the main road and continue straight on along the path; at the end of it, turn left then right to reach the river.
(13) Turn right and follow the Vézère for 2 km, then return to Place du Port, keeping to the left at every junction (S/E).
