Circular route of the Moselle via the Meurthe between Jarville and Malzeville

Park in the last car park on Rue Leo Delibes in Jarville-la-Malgrange opposite Building No. 17.

(S/E) Join the cycle path along Rue Gabriel Faure and head towards the road bridge.

(1) Take the first cycle path on the right to cross Rue Gabriel Faure and continue towards the roundabout. Go around it on the right, crossing Rue Marcel Brot, and continue along the bus depot towards Tomblaine.

(2) Before the bend, take the uphill cycle path on the left to join the main road, cross the Millénaire bridge over the Meurthe river and continue to the Tomblaine crossroads. At the traffic lights, turn left, cross Boulevard du Millénaire towards Tomblaine centre and follow Rue du 11 Novembre to the roundabout. Go around it on the left.

(3) Turn left onto Rue Henri Barbusse, then left again onto Rue Jules Ferry. At the end of the street, continue straight ahead on the footpath. At the end of the path, turn right and continue straight ahead on Boulevard de l'Avenir. Take the path on the left along the Meurthe to go around the buildings, turn right before the playground to reach Rue du 14 Juillet.

(4) When you reach the cycle path along the street, turn left and follow the Meurthe. Cross Rue Camélinat, go down the steps and continue along the cycle path. Go under the Concorde bridge and continue straight ahead. Pass in front of the swimming pool, then under the Avenue Carnot bridge and past the dam.

(5) At the bend, leave the cycle path and take the path along the edge of the Meurthe, passing between the river and the retaining wall. Pass under the Louis Marin viaduct and, at the end of the path, climb the stairs to rejoin the cycle path along Rue de Jéricho. Continue straight ahead on the cycle path and pass under the Vieux Pont de Pierre.

(6) Continue straight ahead on the cycle path towards Pixerécourt. Pass under the Vayringe bridge and immediately turn right twice to take the footbridge over the Meurthe.

(7) At the end of the footbridge, turn right then left and go down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, turn left, pass under the Vayringe Bridge again and take the path between the Meurthe and Rue du Crosne.

(8) Take the wooden stairs down to the river and continue along the wooden path. At the end of the path, join Rue de la Meurthe and immediately turn left onto the cycle path to pass under the Malzéville bridge.

(9) Just after the bridge, turn right and then, at the top of the embankment, turn left onto the cycle path. At the end of the green space, take the path on the left, pass behind the Alain Convard building, then under the Louis Marin viaduct and continue straight on to pass under the "Les Moulins" building and follow the Bras Vert canal. Pass under a footbridge.

(10) After the bridge, take the stairs on the right and join Rue de Château Salins. At the top of the stairs, turn left. At the next junction, turn left again and cross over the canal via the Colonel Paul Daum bridge.

(11) At the end of the bridge, turn left onto Rue du Colonel Paul Daum. At the end of the street, turn right and follow Chemin de la Poudrière along the Meurthe river and continue straight ahead. Pass by the side of the dam, then under the Avenue Carnot bridge and continue straight ahead on the cycle path.

(12) Take the bridge over the Bras Vert and continue along the riverbank, passing in front of the water sports centre and joining a cycle path under the Concorde bridge. Continue straight ahead along the Meurthe and at the next junction, continue straight ahead. Pass under the Millénaire bridge and continue straight ahead to rejoin the cycle path at the start.

(2) Go straight ahead, go around the roundabout on the left, cross Rue Marcel Brot. At the cycle path junction, turn left, cross Rue Gabriel Faure and turn left onto the cycle path to return to the starting car park (S/E).
