Park in the Rue de la Gare car park in Houdemont after the level crossing when coming from the D570.

(S/E) Head towards the village by continuing along Rue de la Gare, pass the war memorial, take the 90° turn and at the end of the street turn left onto Rue du Général De Gaulle. At the Y-junction, turn left to go up Rue de Maréchal Leclerc and continue straight on to reach the Calvary.

(1) At the Calvary, turn right onto Rue de Fonteno. Take a small path uphill to the left between numbers 11 and 13. At two crossroads, continue straight ahead uphill.

(2) At the end of the path, at an X-shaped junction, continue straight ahead and then immediately left. Continue straight ahead on this path to reach the small road called Chemin de Chavigny, turn right to go up the road. Take the^first path on the right into Bois Le Duc, continue straight ahead, passing the small municipal boundary markers.

(3) Come out onto Rue du Bois Le Duc, turn right and continue straight ahead on this street. At the end of the street, turn left onto Rue du Doyen Jacques Parisot and continue straight ahead.

(4) At the entrance to the park, turn right, go through the barrier and take the^first track on the left. At the next crossroads, turn right and head towards the chapel.

(5) At the end of the track, turn left onto Rue Notre Dame des Pauvres, pass in front of the chapel and continue straight ahead. Before the end of the street, at the first building, turn right, go down the stairs and join Rue du Général Leclerc. Turn left then right to cross the street at the pedestrian crossings and continue straight ahead on Rue Jean Zay.

(6) Enter the park through the gate and continue straight ahead, then turn right at^{the first} intersection and then left onto Grande Allée. At the end of the lane, at the half roundabout, turn right onto Grande Clairière and continue straight ahead. At the large roundabout, continue straight ahead and at the next roundabout, turn right onto Chemin Panoramique to arrive at the Belvédère.

(7) Turn left onto Chemin Panoramique. At the next junction, turn right towards the Rue Grignant exit. At the X-junction, go straight ahead and exit via the Rue Grignant gate, then turn left.

(8) At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue de Vandœuvre. Continue to the entrance of the botanical garden.

(9) Enter the Montet botanical garden on the right and continue straight ahead. Before the fence, turn left to go around the pond and climb up towards the chapel. At the chapel, turn right onto the path going uphill to go around the garden from above. At the crossroads, turn right, then left and straight ahead to reach the exit. Leave the garden and turn right at the traffic lights onto Rue Victor Basch. Continue to the crossroads with Avenue Jean Jaurès.

(10) Turn right. At the end of the street, turn left, then right to cross Rue du Général Leclerc at the pedestrian crossing and turn right to go up the street. Turn left onto Rue Notre Dame des Pauvres and then take the first street on the left, Chemin du Coteau.

(11) After the barrier, take the^first path going up to the left opposite the water tower. Join a sandy path and turn left. At the next crossroads, turn right, then right again twice to pass the orientation table and continue straight ahead. At the end of the lane, turn left then right and go around the cemetery. At the cemetery gate, continue straight ahead, then right, then left to go down Chemin des Taillates. At the end of the road, join Rue Bellevue and turn left, then left again at the next crossroads.

(12) Turn right onto Rue du Tonneau. At the end of the street, turn left onto Rue Gambetta, pass in front of the castle and turn right onto Rue Eugénie Berge, then right onto Rue Raymond Champmartin. Between houses 14 and 16, turn left onto the Enrichards educational trail.

(13) Walk through the gardens. Reach an alley and turn left. At the end of the alley, turn right, then left and straight ahead. At a crossroads with fences, turn left and go straight ahead to reach Chemin de Beuhaies. At Chemin de Beuhaies, turn left.

(14) At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue de Nancy. When you reach Chambrun Castle, turn left onto the Pavillon path. At the end of the path, turn right onto Rue du Pavillon. At the end of the street, turn left onto Rue de la Gare and head for the car park on Rue de la Gare (S/E).
