Access: from the town hall in Le Loroux-Bottereau, head west along Rue Anne de Goulaine, go past the roundabout and turn left onto Rue du Fief Heulin, which takes you through a rapidly expanding area of buildings and roundabouts, past the village of Le Tertre, and finally back into the countryside after crossing the D7. About 2 km further on, you’ll pass vineyards and marshes before reaching the hamlet of La Malonnière. Drive down through the hamlet via Rue des Marais and leave your car near the sewage treatment plant in the area known as Port de la Malonnière.
(S/E) Head west along the stony path to L’Angle-Essort, turn left and continue straight on until you reach the road known as the Pontreau.
(1) Turn left for about 50 metres, then left again to rejoin the path along the marsh. Pass Ébrancherie, Berly and La Mahonnière, then, at the castle’s driveway, turn left onto the driveway for about 200 metres to discover the Jousselinière vineyard. Return to the road.
(2) First turn right then left to rejoin the Route du Chiron until you reach the Route des Roseaux. Turn right for about 150 metres.
(3) Turn left, head towards La Tinière and turn right.
(4) In the bend, keep to the right to reach Le Pontreau 400 m ahead. Head up to the left towards La Malonnière, taking care for 300 m, then turn left onto the path towards La Bretèche.
(5) At the hamlet, after the right-hand bend, head up to the left between vineyards and meadows until you reach La Tuloire.
(6) Cross the hamlet, heading down to the right, and join the Route de la Malonnière. Take a quick right then left and walk alongside a vineyard.
(7) Turn right and continue between the vineyards and marshes. Pass the Château de la Malonnière and its small chapel on your right. Reach the village and the sewage treatment plant (S/E).
