The hike starts at the car park on the north bank of the Goulaine at Pont de l'Ouen, on the border between the municipalities of Loroux-Bottereau and Haute-Goulaine at the junction of the D105 and D407 roads.
(S/E) Leave the car park and go around the small group of houses on the right, then behind the buildings onto the path that climbs through the vineyards on the Butte de la Roche and join the orientation table at the foot of the first copse at the top of the hill.
(1) Continue along the path between the vineyards towards the north-east until you reach the hamlet of La Giraudière, where you will join the road. Turn right and cross the D104. Continue to the D7, turn left for 50 metres, then take the path through the vineyards on the right and follow it to the hamlet of Bas Coudray.
(2) In the middle of the hamlet, take the path on the right between the houses, then when it turns sharply to the left, leave it and continue straight on along the path between the trees. Continue to the hamlet of La Faveltière.
(3) Follow the road to the left for about 100 metres, then take the path on the right, which heads almost in the opposite direction (due south) before the first buildings of La Bronnière.
After about 100 metres, keep left along the vineyards, then turn left again at a 90° angle along the vineyards until you reach the D307.
Cross this road and continue straight ahead along the cul-de-sac towards Bas-Pé for 200 metres, then take the path on the left that goes up to Moulin du Pé.
(4) The mill, with its statue of "Christ the King" erected in 1957, no longer has its conical roof. The view from the top of this mill is spectacular, with a 360° panorama.
Continue along the road to the north, and at the crossroads, follow the road to the right for 500 metres, then take the first left.
After 100 metres, leave the road on the right and continue along the wooded path opposite. At the crossroads in the vineyards, take the path on the left to the village of Haut-Coudray, then take the road to the right.
(5) At the stop sign, go down 200 metres to the left, then turn right onto the road that climbs towards Moulin Chartrie. Continue along the path opposite and reach the entrance to the village of Le Loroux-Bottereau, turning left to reach Rue des Moulins.
(6) Take Rue des Moulins on the right, then turn left onto Rue de Bourgogne and left again onto Rue des Forges.
Turn left onto Route de Nantes until you reach the stop sign. Continue straight ahead onto Chemin du Temps Perdu. Turn left onto Rue du Moulin de la Landelle, then turn right onto Rue du Fief Heulin.
(7) Turn left onto Rue Ronsard. After 300 metres, turn left onto the road towards La Carterie and follow it to La Foliette.
(8) On the D105, turn left for about 30 metres, then turn right after the farm building and follow the path along the vineyards, first to the left and then to the right until you reach the D7.
Cross the D7 and take the road towards Blanche-Noë on the left, almost opposite. Before the hamlet, continue straight ahead on the path to the village of Bas-Coudray.
(2) Turn right onto the path you took on the way there and follow it in the opposite direction. When you reach the D7, turn left for 50 metres, then follow the path on the right. Go straight ahead at the crossroads until you reach La Giraudière.
Continue straight on via La Butte de la Roche, pass the orientation table and join the Pont de Louen (S/E).
