Park in the car park at the Salle des Nouelles (19 Rue de la Loire, 44430 Le Landreau).
(S/E) Walk along the right-hand side of the pond to the road, cross over, turn left and then immediately right onto the shaded path. At the three-way junction, take the right-hand path, cross the footbridge, and walk up through the vineyards to the small village road, a few metres from the Stop sign at the junction with the D307.
(1) Head down to the left with your back to the Stop sign, then turn right between the trees and vines. Follow this path towards Route de Briacé and turn left until you reach the pillars, with the school in the background.
(2) Carry on straight ahead. At the Stop sign, cross the D55, continue to the ‘dead end’ sign and turn left to head back up through the vineyards towards four pillars.
(3) Turn right towards the village of La Barbonnière, which you cross, then head through the vineyards and take a small path to cross the Route du Clos des Poëzes. Weave your way through the vineyards (a few yellow signposts), skirt the pretty wine-growing village of La Bazillère on the left, to reach the D37. Cross the road and follow the stony path uphill to the first houses of the Beauchêne mill.
(4) Turn right just before the crossroads to go round La Choletterie on your left. Continue straight on through the vineyards, then enter a shaded path. At the end of the path, turn left and continue, passing the village of La Halverdière, until you reach the final pillars near the D55 road.
(5) Take the hairpin bend to the left, then turn right into Rue des Camélias. After about 100m, near a fire hydrant, a narrow lane on the right leads to the D55. Cross over towards La Sauvagère, then turn left to reach the D37. Cross this road and head back to the Les Nouelles complex via the Coulée Verte.
Cross the pedestrian crossing and head to the hall’s car park (S/E).
