This is a very pleasant, uncrowded walk that is suitable for everyone. On the way there, you will pass through the beautiful Fabas Forest and on the way back, you will walk along the Lac de Saint-André, which is well worth a look

A beautiful loop with very pleasant paths on the edge of the forest. Beautiful panoramic views await you, including a superb view of the village of Simorre and its fortified church. On the circuit, you will find a sculpture by Japanese artist Teruhisa symbolising the roof.

The path climbs towards the high hills of Astarac, crosses the Bois d'Aguin and is embellished with wild orchids in season.

At the start, you can admire the Cistercian church of Saint-Sauveur and, higher up, the abbey house (private property). The rest of the walk is a classic country hike where you will discover the hillsides of the Gers, the Lauze valley, the unmissable duck farm and, if you are lucky, three little donkeys will come to say hello. This route is very well signposted (yellow).

This hike, which has no major difficulties, will be great fun to do in autumn in the midst of an explosion of colour. You'll discover superb beech forests, impressive pidgeon hunting huts, a beautiful view of the Pic du Cagire, the Garonne valley and the first Pyrenean peaks dominating the Barousse.

A short, mostly shaded hike starting from the beautiful village of Mauléon-Barousse. The path is marked from start to finish (yellow markings). You can go to the Gouffre de la Saoule and admire the waterfalls.

A beautiful line hike, which requires you to leave a vehicle at the finish beforehand. From the village of Razecueillé, the route takes you directly to the Pic de Paloumère, offering magnificent views of the Piedmont to the north and the highest peaks to the south, east and west. The route to the finish is very varied: forestry paths, ridges, old paths that are a little forgotten and therefore poorly marked, beech forests frequented mainly by wild boar and roe deer.

A walk steeped in local history. Starting at a 12th-century Cistercian abbey, a pleasant path leads to the 14th-century Château de Mauvezin de Gaston Phébus. Take a break on this rocky outcrop, which offers remarkable 360° views. The return to the abbey follows a downhill path through the woods.

This looping route around the Pic du Gar and Pic de Cagire from the small village of Bezins takes you right up close to the impressive limestone cliffs and gives the Pic du Gar, which is less than 2,000 m high, an air of grandeur. Crossing the beech forest provides a shady route, with beautiful views over the valley. Access to the Pic de Cagire via the north-facing slope offers views over the plain and, in fine weather, spectacular views of the Pyrenees from the summit. This easy hike is located on the border of Haute-Garonne and at the gateway to Ariège. You will walk along the foothills of the Pyrenees. Varied landscapes and architectural sites are waiting to be discovered on this interesting walk.

Arbas, land of bears, paragliders and beautiful hikes! The hike I suggest follows a ridge trail and offers beautiful views of the Comminges to the north and the high peaks of the Pyrenees to the south, all without much difficulty.

This hike allows you to reach the Pic de Cagire in a morning, offering a 360° view between the plain and the highest peaks of the Pyrenees. 07/01/2024: Hiking prohibited to the public from 1 January 2025 to 31 March 2025 by municipal decree (from Pic de L'Escalette towards Pas de l'Âne via the ridges located in the commune of Boutx). A beautiful hike that is accessible to families as it is fairly short. It offers magnificent views of the Pyrenees and ends in a rather rocky environment. The views are quite dizzying for a hike of this length, but you do get to reach a peak!

A beautiful hike with no major difficulties, most of which takes place under the trees. At the summit of Tuc de Pan (1,724 m), you will discover an exceptional panorama of the Garonne valley as it enters France, as well as the Maladeta Massif, among other sights.

From the Col d'Aspin, this short round-trip hike will take you along the ridges between the Campan and Aure valleys for a superb view of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Arbizon and the Perdiguère peaks.

Belvédère du Mont Né (Mont Né viewpoint) is a fitting name for this mountain, as the views you will discover throughout this hike are breathtaking. In good weather, this route does not present any major difficulties. What's more, you will start from Port de Balès, a famous stage of the Tour de France.

Sunshine, panoramic views of the Vallier massif and the Pyrenees, and barns are all on the agenda for this loop above the village of Balagué.

The Pic du Crabère is a must-see summit forming a tripoint between Haute-Garonne, Ariège and Spain. It offers a superb view of the entire Maladeta glacier and the highest peaks in Spain, including the king of the Pyrenees: Aneto! A fairly long hike, but without any technical difficulty, and with a well-marked and easy-to-follow path.

Hike along trails starting from Payolle, through the forest to the Col d'Aspin, then following the ridges of the Plo del Naou. At the summit, you can enjoy an exceptional panorama of the Campan and Arreau valleys, part of the Pyrenees mountain range, as well as the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and the Arbizon.

Cette Crête de Bidour permet de descendre au Col d'Aspin depuis le Plo Del Naou et d'admirer la Vallée d'Arreau. En certaines périodes estivales, la zone de Payolle et les crêtes du Bidour sont assez fréquentées. Il est bon de démarrer la randonnée tôt.
