Basses Gorges du Verdon walks

Wonderful hike through the Lower Verdon Gorges, starting in Quinson.

This easy hike runs along the top of the Baudinard Gorges, offering several views of the gorges and their clear waters.Halfway along the route, there is a descent to a small beach where you can take a well-deserved break and cool off in the waters of Lake Montpezat.After several reviews and having done this route in the opposite direction, I think it's better to do it this way. This allows you to start with the least interesting part and descend with a view of the lake and the goal of swimming in it. So it's good for morale! And on the way back, the climb along the gorges is punctuated by views that make you forget the effort.

A pretty walk off the beaten path. The views are breathtaking in diverse landscapes, all from the beautiful little hilltop village of Artignosc-sur-Verdon.
