There is a very convenient car park on the side of the D71, before the junction with the D9.
(S/E) The start is behind the water tank. Be careful not to get caught up in the GR®. Take the yellow markings opposite. The descent is gentle with pleasant scenery, but there is no shade. Arrive at the GRP®.
(1) Turn right to follow it, following the yellow and red markings, and you will arrive at a fork.
(2) Leave the GRP® and head down towards the lake. The descent to the lake is necessary to cool off.
Swimming is possible but the water is cool and access is a little tricky.
(3) Return to the GRP®.
(2) Turn left and continue along a sheltered path with breathtaking views of the Verdon.
(4) Pass a first viewpoint marked by a wooden barrier: vertigo guaranteed. Continue on to a belvedere overlooking the Sainte-Croix Dam and the bridge, where you can enjoy the landscape one last time.
(5) Continue south on theGRP® to reach the car park (S/E).
