Parking at the start of the Seranville road.
(S/E) Start this walk by taking the Seranville road for 400 metres, before turning left to climb a black gravel path marked with a "red disc". This path is distorted by water runoff channels. At the fork, turn left.
(1) Follow this path, which leads into the Remenoville Communal Forest. Continue along this forest road, which turns into a forest track 800 metres further on, to arrive back at the Seranville road.
(2) Turn left, cross the Trou d'Avedeuy stream and continue for about 400 metres.
(3) Turn onto the grassy path on the left.
(4) Walk a few steps to take a hunting trail (grass path) on your right. When you reach a field, go around it on the right to take a path that runs alongside a small pond. Continue along this path to rejoin the Seranville road on the left. Follow it for about 300 metres.
(5) Take the gravel path on the right opposite the farm. This crosses the fields to join a path marked with a red disc, which leads to a tarmac road.
(6) When you reach the road, turn right towards Giriviller and you will arrive at the Notre-Dame Chapel.
(7) Cross the D147 to descend to the village of Giriviller. Cross the village via Rue des Trois Fontaines to rejoin the D147 further up. At the crossroads, turn left and descend along the D147 for approximately 400 metres.
(8) Take the red-marked path on the right towards Remenoville. The road descends slightly. After a few hundred metres, take the gravel path on your right.
(9) At the end, go up the Seranville road on the right until you reach the sign for "Le haut du Mont Altitude 337m Banc de repos" (Top of the Mountain, Altitude 337m, Rest Bench).
(10) Turn left onto this path, which will take you to a field. Just after the few mirabelle plum trees on your left, you will see a small passage through the bushes (be careful, it is slippery in wet weather) to rejoin the black gravel path at the start of the walk.
Turn left to go down this path and return to your starting point (S/E).
