Departure from Fraimbois church (parking available).
(S/E) From the car park, take the street on the right, then take the hairpin bend to the left into Rue du Haut du Chêne. Continue along Chemin Rural de la Malaune and keep going straight ahead.
(1) Then follow the red disc signs on the hiking trail that starts on the right and then turns left.
Continue straight ahead for 1 km. The path continues across a field.
(2) Turn left, then right, walking alongside a wood for 200 metres and continue straight ahead until you reach the D914.
(3) Turn left onto Rue du Maréchal Foch, then Rue Gambetta until you reach the roundabout on Route de Moyen.
(4) There, a small square provides a place to take a break along the Mortagne River.
Set off again by crossing Rue du Général Leclerc and continue left along Rue du Grand Rupt towards the French and German military cemeteries.
(5) At the intersection with the old Route de Moyen, turn right, then immediately left onto Chemin des Vaches and follow the Red Cross signs.
(6) At the entrance to the forest, turn right, follow the Red Cross signs which turn left, and continue straight ahead along the path through the forest.
(7) Turn left at the exit of the woods. Continue straight ahead along this wide lane, then turn right at the end of the road. Please note that the Red Cross signs are no longer there.
(8) You will come out onto a tarmac road (Fraimbois-Moyen). Turn left towards Fraimbois and continue straight ahead.
In the centre of Fraimbois, follow Rue du Haut Meix, turn right towards the church via Rue du GrandJacquot, then turn left to the car park (S/E).
