In Le Bugue, from the tourist office, drive towards Périgueux. After 6.5 km, leave the D710 and turn left towards Journiac. After 300 metres and before the village, turn left towards La Granerie / Crussendor. Continue for 2.3 km and turn left before the wooden house. Park at the side of the road near the crossroads at the hamlet of La Geneste.
(S/E) From the crossroads, continue on foot, turning left onto the Route des Douglas, towards Saint-Mont. Walk through a forest of chestnut trees and then fir trees, which leads to the hamlet of Saint-Mont.
(1) At the hamlet, take the path on the left which runs alongside a meadow, leaving the houses on your right. Reach the bottom of the valley and its junction.
(2) Continue right along the path, then turn left almost immediately onto another path to reach a track.
(3) Turn left to join the village road. Follow it to the left towards the hamlet of La Bouygue.
(4) Keep to the left and cross the hamlet until you reach Impasse de Zenière.
(5) Turn right towards the hamlet of Zenière, take the path opposite towards Fontvialane and leave the hamlet on your right. Return to the road and follow it to the left until you reach the Route des Feuillardiers.
(6) Keep left, then go straight on and left again towards Fonpeyre. Continue to the end of the meadow.
(7) Turn right into the woods. At the end of the path, follow the road to the right and you will then reach La Geneste (S/E).
