Park at the side of the lanes at the entrance to the village.
(S/E) Departure from the Marcel Lenoir Museum. Turn left onto Grand'rue, lined with half-timbered houses, which crosses the village, and continue straight ahead at the post office.
(1) Turn right, passing in front of the school, and continue to the next path on the left. This path, which is paved at the start, quickly becomes grassy.
(2) Turn right towards the Saint-Geniès farm, cross the (private) courtyard and continue on the path on the left which leads into the oak undergrowth to the Embarre wash house for a refreshing break.
(3) At the wash house, turn left. At the next three-way junction, take the path on the right that goes uphill. Continue on the right and at the three-way junction, leave the path on the right and follow the path on the left that runs alongside an old stone wall to an old sheepfold.
(4) Take the path on the left that descends to the stream, then take the pretty little shaded path on the right.
(5) Leave theGR® country trail and turn left to join the road, which you follow to the left.
(6) At the Causoleil crossroads, turn right towards Arbus (pretty building and viewpoint). Continue to the La Grèze crossroads.
(7) At this crossroads, turn left and follow the road south-west until you reach a Y-junction (note the beautiful buildings typical of the Quercy region).
(8) Continue left, join the D964 at the entrance to the village, then turn into Grand'rue (S/E).
Beautiful wild section covering the first two-thirds of the route, with a few nice little climbs in the middle of the forest and arrival at a pretty old wash house. Lots of wild flowers this spring. Saw a large hare at the lodge, darting away like him. It's a shame about the road section at the end of the walk, but fortunately it's not very busy.
