Park in the Halle de Tharabie car park in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier.
(S/E) Head to Le Médian, a multipurpose hall and theatre.
(1) After passing this hall, turn left. Cross Boulevard de la Noirée and take the cycle path on the right to the next traffic lights. Turn right towards the railway underpass.
(2) Please note that this passage is narrow, so watch out for cars.
After passing under the railway line, turn left towards the new cemetery to reach Montée des Charrières. After the cemetery, follow the path on the left, walk along the railway line and you will reach the crossroads by the rainwater basin.
(3) Turn right and walk along the basin protected by a fence. Leave the basin and, at the top, turn left and then take the first right towards an underpass.
(4) Go through the tunnel and then turn right onto the stony path. At the next crossroads, continue left on a slight incline.
You will see a pond with a captured spring on your right. Continue straight ahead and keep climbing until you reach a large old house on your right.
(5) Turn left in front of this house. After turning left, continue for about 30 metres, then take a narrow path on the right into the woods, after the fence. Follow this path uphill. At the fork, continue straight ahead (do not go up to the left). Continue to the Château de Fallavier.
(6) Take the very narrow staircase and enter the château.
Go around the château and descend via the main access road to the "Chemin de Saint-Pierre" road.
Continue left for a few dozen metres, then turn right between the two stone walls. Follow the path, taking care on the descent.
(7) At the bottom of the descent, turn right and leave the wooden bridge on your left.
With the stream on your left, continue to a wooden footbridge on the left, cross it and walk along the pond on your right. Continue to a wooden slatted walkway and follow it straight ahead along the fitness trail. Continue along this path, cross a curved bridge and turn left near the barrier.
(8) Turn into Rue de Merlet. At the end of this street, turn right for 30 metres, then left onto Rue de la Pépinière.
Continue right at the three-way junction, Rue des Muguets, pass under the railway line and you will return to the initial crossroads at Le Médian.
(1) Turn left and follow the same route back to the car park at the Halle des Sports de Tharabie (S/E).
