Park in car park P1 at Beauport Abbey in Kerity.
(S/E) Exit the car park on the right towards the abbey. Shortly afterwards, turn left and go around the abbey on the right. Head down towards the dyke.
(1) Turn left onto the dyke. Keep left and follow a sandy path towards Poulafret.
(2) At the intersection, continue straight ahead and walk past a campsite on your left. At the next intersection, continue straight ahead. At the crossroads, turn right and head towards the shore. Then follow theGR®34(red and white markings) to the left.
(3) At the entrance to the Poulafret leisure centre, go around the lake on the right with the GR®. This will take you to the old Poulafret tide mill.
(4) Turn right onto a small road. After about 150 metres, leave this road and follow the coastal path to the right along Keirdreiz beach, still following the GR®.
(5) At the fork at the end of the beach, continue right (east) along the coastal path and theGR® towards Pointe de Guilben (superb view of the entrance to Paimpol Bay). Further on, ignore a path on the left leading to a car park and reach an intersection just before the end of the point.
(6) Walk around the tip of the headland in an anti-clockwise direction. On the northern part of this walk, take a short detour to the left to reach the top of the hill (former customs shelter). Return to the coastal path and go back to the previous intersection.
(6) Then turn right. Shortly afterwards, the path deviates from the coast due to a landslide (follow the red and whiteGR® markings, as the purple route on the 1:25,000 map has not been updated). Leave the car park on your left and follow a wide grassy path. You will come to a small road (blockhouse) and follow it to the right along the houses.
(7) When the road turns left, veer right and descend to rejoin the coastal path (still theGR®). Pass Pointe Brividic and continue until you reach the beach at La Tossen below.
(8) After the house on the left at the end of the beach, turn left into Rue Hent Crec'h Derrien.
Continue straight ahead, ignoring a road on the right and then a road on the left.
(9) At the end, turn left onto Chemin de Guilben. Pass the access road to Guilben on your left and take thefirst path on the right, called Gardenn Kerdreiz. Go downhill until you reach the crossroads you took on the way there.
(5) Turn right and walk along the leisure centre on your right. Follow the route back the way you came to the tide mill.
(4) Continue straight ahead on Chemin Jacques Quélen and walk along the lake on your left.
(3) Follow the same route as on the way there in the opposite direction towards the abbey. Walk along the campsite on your right.
(2) At the corner of the campsite, turn right onto a wide path along a high wall. This will take you directly to the car park (S/E).
