Puig Pedrous from Montalba-le-Château
A lovely circular of two hours starting from Montalba-le-Château and passing through Puig Pedrous.
Around Montalba-le-Château
A short walk around Montalba-le-Château to enjoy the diversity of the landscapes.
Above Molitg-les-Bains
A quick detour to view the village from above and admire the irrigation system along the canal. Much of the walk is in the shade.
From Molitg-les-Bains to the Dolmen of Pla de l'Arca
A lovely walk that quickly takes you above the village and passes through pastureland, a stream, wooded sections, a few ruins and a pretty plateau.
Pic del Rosselló from Molitg-les-Bains
A hike with multiple panoramic views, ideal from October to May: very sunny. The GPX track will be useful on a few sections where the yellow markings are scarce. See §: Practical information
From Molitg-les-Bains to Saint-Jaume-de-Calaons, avoiding the road, and back
A lovely hike combining two circular loops to make a round trip from Molitg-Les-Bains via the Hermitage of Sant Jaume de Calaons, with superb views of the sea, the plain, the Pic du Canigou and the Pic du Madrès.
Vernet-les-Bains: Pic Cogollo, circular return
A lovely, uncrowded hike above Vernet-les-Bains. Pass above the waterfalls and flirt with the access routes to Canigou.
Jaça de Palau from Palau-de-Cerdagne
A 15% incline for the first two kilometres. The climb is through pine trees. There is a lack of views, but you will be rewarded when you reach the refuge and the Palau sheepfold, which offer beautiful views of Dorres, Angoustrine, Llivia and Font-Romeu. The descent along a pretty stream is pleasant.
Around Corneilla-de-Conflent via Fillols
A pleasant circular that allows you to take a break at the Fillols bistro. A few shaded sections make it enjoyable in all seasons. No difficulty. Only a small broken bridge over the stream at the start may deter the less agile.
Double circular route between Villerach and Llonat
A walk beneath Canigou with views of the villages on the left bank of the Têt. You will pass a dolmen and the ruins of the church in the old village. No difficulty. Suitable in all seasons.
Tour du Bénal in Counozouls
A short walk before visiting the village of Counozouls and its craft brewery. There are a few shaded sections along the Ruisseau de Bailleurs. When we walked this route in July, crossing the stream was straightforward. After heavy rain, you may need to take off your shoes.
