You’ll be charmed by this refreshing walk, which offers numerous panoramic views of the Véronne valley, which has retained its traditional landscape of meadows enclosed by hedgerows and embankments, with its sunken paths lined with trees that are sometimes spectacular. The route crosses the Véronne (a tributary of the Risle) and follows the river several times; we are truly on the ‘waterways’.

A lovely woodland walk that takes you through the woods of Courcelles and Le Chouquet, not to mention the two castles at Fontaine-l’Abbé and Courcelles.

This easy route is typical of the Pays d’Auge, with its sunken paths and damp grasslands; it is mostly shaded and offers an intimate atmosphere between the forest and traditional hedgerow countryside: ideal for recharging your batteries.
