Versigny (Oise) walks

Triple loop in the Bois du Roi through three villages near Crépy-en-Valois. This hike can be completed in its entirety, covering nearly 19 km, or divided into circuits of only 15 or 10 km.

This hike is mainly in the forest, favouring trails in hilly terrain. The circuit passes through large pine forests with undergrowth of heather and ferns providing a beautiful variety of colours. The ground is often very sandy, making it easy to hike in winter.

Twelfth stage of the Grand Tour of Île-de-France via the GR® 11, connecting the village of Borest to Crépy-en-Valois station, both in the Oise department. This long stage consists of crossing the Valois region to Crépy-en-Valois, mainly through agricultural plains and wooded areas.

A relaxing hike with very little elevation gain, starting from Ver-sur-Launette and heading to the Ermenonville State Forest,site of two councils or synods in the 8th and 9th centuries. The commune was called Vern in 846. Ver became Ver-sur-Launette on 15 January 1936.

A walk in the Bois du Roi starting from Macquelines, in the Betz district, passing through Lévignen with its 16th-century church, La Grivette, a small 15 km river that flows into the Canal de l'Ourcq, a small pond, and La Sainte Fontaine, a religious site.

Thirteenth stage of the Grand Tour of Île-de-France via the GR® 11, linking Crépy-en-Valois station in the Oise to Villers-Cotterêts station in the Aisne. It passes through the wooded areas separating these two towns and part of the Automne river valley, which it follows for several kilometres, on the border between the departments of Oise and Aisne.

The Butte de Montgé stretches north of the N3 between Dammartin-en-Goële and Meaux. This hike has two very contrasting aspects: a section through the forest on the crest of the hill followed by a return via the plain at the foot of its southern slope. Dammartin-en-Goële was the seat of a county that fell to Antoine de Chabannes, companion of Joan of Arc, through his marriage in 1439 to Marguerite de Nanteuil, heiress to the county of Dammartin. Circular starting from Dammartin, passing through two villages, parks, rural paths, a stretch of forest, three churches and small passages in built-up areas.

This hike allows you to discover the beautiful Halatte Forest with its oak and beech trees and to get close to some of its curiosities. They all bear witness to human presence and activity since the dawn of time. Along the route, on the heights of Mont Pagnotte, beautiful views await you.

Hike in a forest massif located on a hill and composed mainly of beech and oak trees. The southern and northern edges offer beautiful panoramic views of the Valois agricultural plateau and the Oise Valley.

This loop, starting from Villers-Saint-Frambourg, takes place in the Forêt d'Halatte. The paved forest roads follow the dirt tracks. We climb Mont Pagnotte via the south face. After a long descent, we go around the mountain to climb it again, but this time via the north face. The ascent is less difficult as it follows a beautiful path. After a long descent, we return to our starting point.

Circular allowing you to cross the Montgé-en-Goële forest, starting from the village of Cuisy and running alongside or crossing various streams (Ru du Rossignol, Ru de l'Arzillère and Ru de la Maquerelle). Hike mainly on dirt tracks. Passage near the Signal de Montgé at an altitude of 201 metres. The forest contains many remarkable species (chestnut, oak, ash, horse chestnut, hornbeam, tulip tree and plane trees).

A hike on both banks of the River Thérouanne, in places where fierce fighting took place during the Battle of Ourcq (September 1914). A rich heritage along the way: mills, farmhouses, a castle, a chapel, a church, etc.

This hike takes place in the Plaine de la Goële, mainly in open country across vast cultivated areas. It passes through three villages: Juilly, Vinantes and Nantouillet, allowing you to discover some interesting heritage sites.
