Description of the walk

Parking is available next to the Church of Saint-Médéric in Péroy-les-Gombries.

(S/E) With your back to the church entrance, turn right onto Rue de l'Église, then left and right to take Rue du Lambure. Follow this road straight ahead and cross Rue Bazin twice on the right-hand side.

(1) Cross Rue de la Pierre Blanche and continue straight ahead. Soon, at the edge of the town, the tarmac gives way to a dirt track. At the first crossroads (elevation 122), go straight ahead north.

(2) At the next intersection, cross the GR®11 and continue on the path opposite. At the next two intersections, continue straight ahead. At a T-junction, turn left and quickly reach another T-junction.

(3) Then turn right. Ignore the paths on the right and left.

(4) Cross the Route du Chêne Botté and continue straight ahead, ignoring all the paths on either side.

(5) At the junction with Chemin des Bergers, turn left (north-west). Pass a picnic area on your left and continue to a crossroads near a cemetery.

(6) Then turn right onto a greenway and, after about 50 metres, turn right again. Follow this straight path east-southeast. At the Carrefour Joseph, continue straight ahead.

(7) At the next junction, cross the GR®11 again and continue straight ahead. Pass Carrefour Alice and you will come to a T-junction.

(8) Then turn left and go through a tunnel under the Voie Verte.

(9) At the junction at the end of the tunnel, turn right. After about 200 m, turn left. Head north-east and ignore two turnings on the right.

(10) At the next intersection (Sainte Fontaine on the left, a good place to stop), continue straight ahead until the next intersection.

(11) Then turn right. At the next intersection, go straight ahead until you reach a street parallel to the N2.

(12) Follow this street to the left (Rue de Paris). At the next intersection, keep right. Pass the cemetery on your right and the Church of Saint Jean-Baptiste and Saint-Julien de Levignen.

(13) Before a roundabout, turn left onto Rue du Gué and immediately right onto a path. Cross Rue du Valois (D332) with caution and take Rue Georges Ardenois opposite. Cross Impasse des Bleuets on the left and continue for about 50 metres.

(14) Turn left onto a path. At the end, turn left onto Rue Carnot. Return to Rue du Valois (D332) and follow it to the right for about 200 metres.

(15) Turn left onto Allée de l'Étoile. At the end of the tarmac road, continue along a forest path. Ignore a turn-off on the right and continue south-west until you reach a crossroads that you passed earlier.

(11) Turn right, heading north-west.

(16) At the next intersection, turn left, heading due west. At the crossroads (elevation 104), continue straight ahead, heading west-northwest, until you reach the next crossroads.

(17) Follow the GR®11 (red and white markings) to the left. Stay on the main marked path and ignore the side paths until you reach a junction near the Voie Verte.

(18) Turn left and take the tunnel under the Voie Verte. At the junction on the other side, continue for about 50 metres.

(19) Turn left, heading south, still following the GR®11, and reach a junction you passed on the way there.

(7) Continue straight ahead, still on the GR®11. Head south-west and climb up to a crossroads (Poteau du Roi).

(20) Continue straight ahead, south-south-east, for about 500 m.

(21) At the crossroads, turn right, still following the GR®11. Walk south-west for about 1.2 km.

(22) Leave the GR®11 and turn left. Leave the Bois du Roi and ignore the path on the left.

(23) At the fork, turn right and arrive at Péroy-les-Gombries via Rue Bouchère. Go straight ahead at the crossroads.

(24) Cross Rue des Ravais on the right and continue along Rue Bouchère. Take the first right, Rue de la Ville. You will soon see the church and the car park on your left (S/E).

Hello, I haven't seen anything that would prohibit it.
You must not stray from the marked trails in order to protect the flora and fauna. There are some crossings through built-up areas, but otherwise I am not familiar with the regulations on horse riding. Have a nice day.
