Description of the walk

(S/E) From the car park, take the Route de Sentelies on the left, towards the village centre, and follow Rue Pierre, which becomes a dirt track, until you reach the first crossroads.

(1) Take the path on the left that leads down towards Famechon.

(2) Just before the fish farm (trout farm), go round the metal barrier at the side and take the well-marked path which goes round the ponds and runs alongside the River Évoissons for a while before returning to the fish farm. Go back up the road you took earlier to the first crossroads.

(1) Continue straight on and follow the woods through the Amiens valley.

(3) At the first junction, turn right. At the next junction (elevation 172), turn left.

(4) At the wayside shrine, take the road on the right, which, after passing the cemetery and Saint-Lucien Church, leads back to the village centre. Take the Route de Sentelies to reach the car park (S/E).

Pleasant... A bit damp at the moment, but the paths are passable, even in the marshes

A lovely circular walk with varied scenery, taking in the village, the plains, the pond and a short climb at the end of the circular walk

A pleasant walk. The start was a bit tricky as it wasn’t clearly marked. The section past the fish farm and the walk around the pond were lovely.

The car park at the start of the route is on Rue Charles Dufour (easier to find) along the footpath, 100 metres from the road, on a concrete slab.
A rather pleasant walk with a nice climb between points 1 and 3, offering superb views over the Evoissons valley.

Thank you, PIPOTIN 60, for this lovely route.
