From Clairy-Saulchoix to Saveuse, follow the GR®123 trail

Park in the car park of the church in Clairy-Saulchoix.

(S) Take Rue Saint-Nicolas, which follows the GR®123 marked in white and red, continue along Route du Saulchoix until you reach the cemetery.

(1) Continue north until you reach the Croix Bonhomme crossroads, where you will find an old, ruined chapel in front of apple orchards.

(2) Cross a road, continue on the GR® and arrive at a T-junction.

(3) Turn right onto the dirt track and continue to follow the GR®. Walk between the fields, then turn 90° to the left onto a completely straight section. This will take you to a wider track.

(4) Turn right onto it and continue to follow the GR® to reach a fork.

(5) Turn left to reach the village of Ferrières.

(6) Cross the village, following the red and white markings. Follow an easy climb to reach the edge of the woods.

(7) Enter the Ferrières forest and, at the exit, you will reach a crossroads.

(8) Take the path on the left. Pass under the power lines before reaching the car park above Rue des Mésanges in Saveuse (E).

Note: for this hike, you will need to park your car in the car park at the top of Rue des Mésanges in Saveuse before heading to the starting point in Clairy-Saulchoix.
