(S/E) From the car park at the Salle Polyvalente, head north along Rue de la Place, turn right onto Rue Dondaine, then left onto Rue d’Estrées, passing Rue de Longpré on your left.
(1) At the crossroads, turn right then left. Walk alongside the lagoons, join theGR®123(Fond de l'Absous) and follow it to the right.
(2) At the pumping station, turn right. On the uphill stretch, take the first path on the left. At the crossroads, turn left twice to return to the pumping station.
Take the path on the right into the Vallée Saint-Nicolas.
(3) At the second path, turn left and, on the climb, take the first path on the right. Head up to the left to reach the sheep pastures, which you will go round on the right.
At the bottom of the sheep pastures, you’ll find an information board and a pleasant spot to take a break.
(4) Head back up through the sheep pastures along a steep little path and, at the top, continue straight ahead then turn right.
(5) Before turning left, take a moment to admire the magnificent view of Grattepanche.
(6) At the next crossroads, you’ll have to go slightly ‘off-track’ to reach the Vallée Coquillette. To do this, follow a small embankment at the edge of a chalky field, then turn right.
(7) Head down to the left, to the bottom of the Vallée Coquillette.
(8) At the exit of the valley, turn right onto theGR®123, then cross the Chemin de Grattepanche and continue straight on.
(9) Turn left, leave theGR® and head straight for Oresmaux. Turn left into Rue de la Fontenelle to return to the car park (S/E).
