Discovering Trois Saints from Vallant-Saint-Georges
A pleasant walk along the “Discovering the Three Saints” route: Vallant-Saint-Georges, Droupt-Sainte-Marie and Droupt-Saint-Balse. The route allows you to discover the rich cultural, wildlife and plant heritage of this area. A very flat route along the Haute Seine Canal, the River Seine and the ponds, including the Brun.

Montaigu via Les Grandes Vallées
From the heights of Laines-aux-Bois, descend to the plain, visit the Fontaine site, the remains of the Gallo-Roman oppidum and the traces of the castle at the Montaigu nature site, then return via the Sentier des Moutons trail, ending with a walk through the charming hamlet of Les Grandes Vallées.
This route avoids the steepest paths.

A short walk overlooking the villages of Bercenay and Vauchassis.
Montaigu from Souligny
Cross the Souligny Communal Forest, descend into the Val de Gloire along the Sentier des Moutons, then visit the Montaigu nature site, the remains of the Gallo-Roman oppidum and the ruins of the castle, with a panoramic view of the Champagne plain on the way back.
The route follows sections of several well-signposted Sentiers des Moutons trails (8 km, 12 km, 14 km).
The Sentier des Moutons from Bouilly
This trail follows one of the sheep tracks that allowed herds to move from the surrounding villages to the Essarts plateau when it was used as grazing land in the 19th century.
Since then, it has become a beautiful forest.
From Sommeval to Javernant
A short walk offering a beautiful view of the Crésantignes region and the forests of Jeugny and Aumont.
The Wolf Trail in Sommeval
The Sentier du Loup trail circles Sommeval. This pretty little village stretches out in a valley which, like an amphitheatre, is surrounded on three sides by wooded hills. The trail allows visitors to discover one of the last dry grasslands in the Pays d'Othe.
The trail is well maintained and clearly marked, but it is not recommended during the hunting season, from November to February.
The Loup trail starting from Sommeval
This variation of the Loup trail goes around Sommeval, a pretty little village nestled in a valley which, like an amphitheatre, is surrounded on three sides by wooded hills. The trail allows you to discover one of the last dry grasslands in the Pays d'Othe and to cross the forests of Javernant and Sommeval.
The trail is well maintained and clearly marked, but it is not recommended during the hunting season, from November to February.
The Bezeaux Spring and Les Hauts de Flacy
After admiring the church dedicated to Saint-Loup and the wash house dating from 1877, head towards the Hauts de Flacy via the Source Bézeaux and the Flacy forest.
Circular route around Val d’Auzon
Winding its way through the open countryside of the chalky Champagne region, this route passes by the Croît viewpoint. Linking the three villages of the Val d’Auzon commune (Auzon-les-Marais, Villehardouin and Montandon) and that of Brantigny, it offers views of four churches, two wash houses, a castle and the pretty River Auzon.
Petit Orient Route
Half of this forest route follows the Vélovoie cycle path, revealing a wide variety of lakeside landscapes: the submerged forest of Lac d'Orient, the unobstructed view from the Lac du Temple dyke. This is in stark contrast to the dirt tracks of thesecond part of the route, which takes you through forests and countryside.
Route from the lake to the Domaine de la Forêt d'Orient, starting from Géraudot
Connecting Géraudot Beach on Lac d'Orient and the golf course located in the forest area, this route passes through different environments: meadows bordered by hedges, open farmland, dense deciduous forests, and the charming village of Géraudot.
Chapelle Sainte-Reine route
Walk in the Forest of Othe on the border of the Yonne department.
The village of Bérulle itself is already very pretty.

This hike allows you to explore a natural environment that is generally difficult to access, thanks to a well-maintained path between wet meadows and some beautiful viewpoints. A "nature" hike where the former Abbey of Saint-Gond adds a touch of heritage.

Route des Granges auboises
Between lake and forest, countryside and orchards, this route includes the Sentier du Lapin Blanc (White Rabbit Trail). Revealing a preserved village and its barns, crossing a wood, open countryside and green meadows, running along the beach and the dyke, this route sums up all the attractions of the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park.
La Barse Route
Two villages notable for their heritage are linked by this route, which crosses the River Barse, winding through pastures and orchards – a landscape typical of the humid Champagne region. The path passes by the former abbey of Montiéramey and two manor houses in Montreuil-sur-Barse.
The Abbaye du Reclus via Bannay and Belin
This is a short hike with lots to discover: the Abbaye du Reclus, the Château de Belin and the Reclus dolmen. You will hike through woods and pastures where cows graze. There are no particular difficulties, but avoid this hike in wet weather.
Circular route in the Rumilly-les-Vaudes forest
This flat walk, suitable for all ages, starts and ends at the foot of the village’s 16th-century church. A 15 km walk suitable for everyone; pushchairs with large wheels are welcome.

The Vanne Hills circular route
From Chigy (Les Vallées de la Vanne) to Pont-sur-Vanne, this trail passes through natural sites included in the European Natura 2000 network, which recognises the richness of their flora and fauna.
The dry grasslands on chalk offer significant and unique floral diversity. The view over the Vanne valley is breathtaking.
Information boards along the route explain the site’s natural riches.
Congy, Étoges, Toulon-la-Montagne via the GRP® Thibaut de Champagne
This is a route rich in discoveries: the castles of Congy and Étoges, the Champagne vineyards, and above all the magnificent menhir of the Étang de Chènevry. Vineyards, woods and crops with magnificent views of the nearby marshes of Saint Gond.
No technical difficulties except for a little mud in wet weather.
On the GRP® Thibaut de Champagne starting from Baye
Here’s a short walk that will allow you to see plenty of sights: the Castles of Baye and Congy, and the little menhir at Villevenard. The route partly follows the route of the old Reims Suburban Railway (CBR).
A very shaded route through magnificent woods. Best avoided in very wet weather.

The Champ-Fêtu Forest
From Vareilles, discover the beautiful Champs-Fêtu forest, reforested at the end of the 18th century. You will walk along the wild boar park and arrive at the old Champ-Fêtu farm and its 35-metre giant sequoia.
The cider route starting from Cerisiers
You will discover the village of Cerisiers, the old brick dryer and the Villechétive stud farm. It is a beautiful walk in the forest with a recommended detour to Les Brissots, a museum and cider producer.
Petit Morin Valley - Montolivet and the Moulin de l'Oie
A bucolic hike where paths through fields and woods alternate with small roads with very little traffic.
Mécringes - Washhouse Route
A short walk for the whole family, during which you’ll be able to follow the Petit Morin, see the Marne countryside and, above all, enjoy an extraordinary view of Montmirail and its castle, as well as the Champagne vineyards.
