Les Deux Vallées from Pouan-les-Vallées

Start in front of the church in Pouan-les-Vallées, Rue de l'Église

(S/E) With the church on your right, head towards the woods, then turn left until you reach the houses. Continue to the right, then immediately left until you reach a T-junction.

(1) Take the path on the right. Cross the Barbuise and arrive at a path on the edge of the forest.

(2) Go right to the end, to Les Grands Bois.

(3) Turn right. Leave one path to reach a second one.

(4) Turn left and follow the stream. Find a bridge.

(5) Cross it and continue straight ahead, keeping to the left until you reach the woods. Turn left, then right until you reach the pond.

(6) Head towards the pond, keeping to the left. Keep right at the end to arrive along the meandering Aube River.

(7) Continue and keep right twice until the third fork.

(8) You can continue straight ahead to reach Villette-sur-Aube. Otherwise, keep right, then go straight ahead until you reach the pond.

(6) Keep going and return to the bridge via the same route.

(5) Stay on the left bank of the stream. In the woods, turn left, then keep right until you reach Pouan-les-Vallées.

(9) Continue left on Rue de la Charmatte, go to the end. Turn left along the square.

(10) Reach Rue des Anciens Combattants, D8, and take Voie Creuse opposite. Continue to Route de Méry, D441.

(11) Cross carefully at the pedestrian crossing to go opposite, slightly to the right, onto Rue du Pont Neuf and continue to the right. Cross the Barbuise to reach the street of the same name. Turn left until you reach the Y-junction.

(12) Keep right. Pass under the power lines and turn to follow the woods to the end of the road.

(13) Keep right, then stay right at the fork before continuing straight ahead until you reach Route de Méry, D441.

(14) Cross this road. Pass a junction before turning right at the bend to rejoin Rue des Anciens Combattants, D8.

(15) Cross this road, then follow the street to the church (S/E).
