Park on Rue de Beaumont, near the town hall.
(S/E) Head towards the crossroads, take the Route de Troyes opposite, go past Rue de Chaast then turn onto the path on the left.
(1) Leave the main path and take the small track on the right that goes under the hedge. Cross the main road with care and continue in the same direction along the forest track.
(2) At the gate, take the path on the right and enter the forest.
(3) At the fork, turn left to follow the zigzags of the small path heading south-east. At the junction (marker 260), continue straight on through Bois Chevalier until you reach the junction with the Route Forestière Liliane Mocquery.
(4) Turn right to follow the forest road, then turn left at a 90° angle onto Route Forestière Charles Forman.
(5) At the first junction, after the bend, leave the forest road and take the path on the right. At the next junction, turn right again and you will come out onto a field on the edge of the Grands Bois.
(6) Follow its edge to the right. The climb is steep. You can see the reservoir on the left. Halfway up the slope, turn left and go down the farm track that runs between two fields, then turn right to climb again. Pass in front of the reservoir and descend gently along the Crête de la Belle Faye to reach Vauchassis.
(7) At the crossroads, turn left, then right into Rue du Sureau.
(8) At the fire hydrant, turn left to go down Rue aux Moines, join Rue de Jouée and turn right to return to Rue de Beaumont and the car park (S/E).
