Park in the Manchet chairlift car park south of Val d'Isère.
(S/E) Head south along the wide track and you will quickly reach a trail junction.
(1) Keep right on the trail, leaving the track here. Follow the Calabourdane stream. Cross it on the footbridge. Begin a series of switchbacks to reach a new track.
Turn left onto it to reach a new crossroads near the stream.
(2) Turn right and walk along the left bank of the stream. Cross the hamlet of Sur le Piche. At the exit, you will find a new Y-shaped trail junction.
(3) Take the right-hand branch, which runs along the left bank of the Ruisseau du Charvet. You will reach the confluence with the Ruisseau de la Grande Tête.
(4) Continue along the left bank of the Charvet stream, cross several torrents and then cross to the right bank of the Charvet stream.
(5) Continue climbing until you reach the highest point, which offers a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Begin a short descent to reach a small lake.
(6) Continue the descent heading due east, then due south. Reach the Pissets crossroads.
(7) Change direction here to head due north and discover the Saut du Pisset.
(8) Continue along the left bank of the Ruisseau du Pisset. Pass the Chalet du Riondet before crossing the Ruisseau de Charvet again and returning to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(3) Take the same route as on the way there to the right and return to the stream crossroads.
(2) Turn right, cross the Pisset stream, continue along the track, cross the Calabourdane stream at Manchet and return to the original crossroads.
(1) Turn right onto the original path to return to the Manchet chairlift car park (S/E).
