Start of the hike in Benalo.
(S/E) Take the path (GR®34, red and white markings) that descends towards the Penboc'h campsite. Walk along the entrance to the campsite and take the path on the left that leads to the coastal path (walk along the campsite).
(1) When you reach the coast, turn right and follow the coastline.
Please note that at Rue de la Tour Vincent, the coastal path is interrupted. At high tide, follow this street and turn left onto the first path to rejoin the coast.
(2) Leave this coastal path when you see a large property: the Manoir de Kerat. A staircase leads back up into the undergrowth. Walk along the bottom of the Manoir de Kerat (a beautiful renovated residence) and take the path on the right to go back up.
(3) When you reach a small square, walk past the manor and continue straight ahead until you reach a crossroads, then turn left onto the road until you reach a path (between the car parks and the road leading up to Pointe d'Arradon).
When you reach the port, turn left onto the pontoon. At the end (beautiful view of the beach and the islands in the gulf), go down the stairs and turn right along the beach.
Pass the restaurant "Les Vénètes". Continue to the point
(4). Return via the other side, along the road that runs alongside some beautiful properties. At the sailing centre, continue straight ahead and take theGR® on the right.
(5) At the end of the path, turn left onto Chemin de Pen Meil.
When you reach the water's edge, follow the shore to the right.
(6) At the end of the path, take another path opposite. Pass in front of the Paluden tide mill.
(7) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead along Chemin de la Lande.
At the crossroads, turn left and then take the path opposite along the shore.
At the end of the dyke (green space), take the path that goes up to the right.
(8) At the crossroads, take the road on the left and continue straight ahead (on the left, the Laminaires path leads down to the beach, beautiful house). When you reach the coast, turn right.
(9) After the end of the bay, turn left onto Chemin du Bilo. At the road, follow the path on the left.
(10) After the oyster farm, take the path (stairs) to the left of the road.
At the end of this path, take the road on the left and in the village of Le Moustoir, turn left (Chemin d'Irus) (visit the village, with its pretty little houses and small chapel).
(11) Reach the coast and turn right.
(12) After the gate of the oyster farm, take the path on the left and follow the edge of the channel to the Moulin de Pomper (S/E).
A magnificent walk offering superb views of the various islands in the gulf!
