(S/E) When you leave the car park, follow the wide path heading west.
This path runs along the back of the dune and there are numerous steps allowing you to climb the dune for a panoramic view of Anse de Bénodet.
Continue along this wide path and note the work being done to consolidate the very fragile dune. You will reach the aqua walking centre.
(1) Follow the path above the rockfill protecting Teven Beach. Pass a car park (toilets) and continue towards the village of Île-Tudy on the rest of the dune between the beach and the rows of maritime pines on your right.

(2) Take the first street, Rue des Rochers, which leads to Rue des Écoles. Follow it to the left, going around the cemetery and church on the right. If the church is open, it is worth a visit.
Return to the seafront and follow Boulevard de l'Océan on the right, which leads to Jardin de la Pointe, offering a view of Loctudy opposite and the channel leading into the port marked by the "La Perdrix" beacon. Also note the statue "Le Joueur de Luth" carved from an Iroko tree trunk.
(3) You can continue along the seafront (see practical information).
Retrace your steps and turn left into the narrow Rue de la Pointe, then continue along Rue de la République to reach the harbour slipway and the square where the bars and restaurants are located.
(4) Continue along Rue du Port, then Rue Principale and Avenue de Bretagne. This is the least interesting part of the route, but if the tide allows, you can always go down the west side and continue along the coast.
(5) Turn left onto Rue des Îles, which loops through a residential area, and continue along Rue de la Cité. At the end, turn left, walk about ten metres and, on the left, look for a grassy passageway marked by a wooden barrier, which will take you to a grassy area facing Anse de Pouldon.

(6) Turn left then right, continue along a sunken path which is often wet, then follow the small road which continues along it.
(7) Turn left and follow the small road, ignoring two paths on the right, and continue to the third.

(8) Turn right near the houses, cross the D144 with caution and keep left towards the place called Rhu, which you will leave on your left, and continue straight ahead towards the former holiday centre Le Treustel.

(10) At the signpost, turn right to enter the Roscanvel nature reserve managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Follow this path through a wetland area until you reach the Roscanvel wash house and fountain on your left, just before the buildings of this former farm.

(11) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead along the path that leads to a cider apple orchard and go around it on the right.
Exit at the end of the orchard on the right and join a path that you follow to the left until it joins the bridle path.
(12) Turn right and follow this long grassy lane straight ahead, heading south. At the end, turn left and return to the car park (S/E).
