Start from the car park opposite the town hall.
(S/E) Leave the car park by going down to the left and at the crossroads, take the road on the right, heading south-south-east towards the river. Follow the yellow markings.
(1) Just before the bridge, take theGR® on the right. The path runs alongside the river and reaches an intersection at a place called Le Thenney.
(2) Take the small road on the left that descends towards the river. Take the footbridge, then cross the "Voie Verte" and follow the road on the right for a few hundred metres.
(3) At the intersection, take the first road on the left that goes up into the woods (D34). At the next intersection, take Rue du Colombier on the left and immediately left again onto Chemin de la Côte Marotte in the woods until you reach thefirst intersection of paths.
(4) Leave Chemin de la Côte Marotte and turn right onto the road. Cross the road and take the road opposite. After the buildings, it turns into a path. At the next two intersections, go straight ahead, continuing along the edge of the woods, then continue to the road at a place called L'Oisellière.
(5) Take the road on the left. At the edge of the woods, take the second path on the left. This path crosses the woods and then, at the barns, runs along the edge of the woods again. It turns into a small road at the hamlet of Le Lieu Beaumont. Continue a few metres past thefirst crossroads.
(6) Take the small path on the left that descends into the woods. Cross the "Voie Verte" and take the road on the right for a few metres. Take thefirst road on the left towards the "Grosse Forge". Follow the road, admiring the old forges as you go.
At the next intersection, continue straight ahead. After about 300 metres, turn right onto the path that goes up into the woods, leading to a road and then a crossroads at a place called Les Gastines.
(7) Take the road on the left. You are between woods and fields, on the edge of a hamlet. At the end of the road, at the crossroads, cross over and continue straight ahead on the path opposite, which runs alongside the woods. Stay on the edge of the woods until you reach the next road at La Croix Franqueville.
(8) Take the first road on the left that goes downhill, ignore the road on the right and, after a left-hand bend, you will return to the car park where you started (S/E).
