Park at the Place du Baillage in Bouvignes-sur-Meuse.
(S/E) Start to the right of the church through the small stone tunnel and go up the path that immediately branches off to the left. Further up, this path turns into a trail and leads to a road. Continue along this road to the right (i.e. almost straight ahead).
(1) Take the path on the left and follow it for a long way (GR®129 markings to Dinant). Join Rue de Sologne, which continues into Rue du Bon Secours.
(2) Leave this street to pass near the chapel of the same name and continue along the path that runs alongside the sports fields. Turn left to pass above the Collège Notre-Dame de Bellevue. Take the road on the right at an acute angle (Rue de Bon Secours), then turn left to reach a roundabout.
(3) Cross the bridge over the Meuse with the saxophones and descend to the other bank; continue towards Namur for about 200 m along Boulevard Léon Sasserath. Turn right into Rue Saint-Jacques towards a small square with a saxophone, and continue straight ahead after this square.
(4) A little further up, take an uphill lane on the left (you will find the GR®125-126 markers), then climb a steep staircase. Continue along the balcony path. Turn left to reach Rue Saint-Pierre, continue to the right and go around two car parks.
(5) After descending to the road that runs alongside the Meuse, cross the lock and continue on the other bank towards Namur along the towpath.
(6) At Bouvignes-sur-Meuse, go under the railway through a small tunnel, turn right and then, a few metres further on, left into Rue des Potiers. At the end, turn right into Rue Henri Richier and you will find yourself back at Place du Baillage (S/E).
