(S/E) Starting from the old Anheé railway station, the route begins in the countryside and quickly reaches the wooded heights as it approaches Haut-le-Wastia, a hilltop village overlooking the Molignée Valley.
(3) The hike then takes the Chemin de Pauline to reach the valley and then the RAVeL to the iconic Villa des Lapins, opposite the departure point for the Molignée rail bikes.
(5) Until this point, the route follows sections of marked trails, but at the Villa des Lapins, it turns onto a path that is passable but little known, in a narrow canyon that looks more like an abandoned game of pick-up sticks than a structured forest.
After about 2 km of forest trail, which is sometimes quite steep, the route reaches the plateau for a short stretch through the countryside.
(6) The walk bypasses Warnant to the north, climbs again through the undergrowth towards the Ferme de Corbais (8) and then plunges back into the Molignée valley.
(9) The end of the route follows the RAVeL between the old stations of Warnant and Anhée, passing in front of the former Cistercian Abbey of Moulins.
(10) Former Cistercian abbey now known as Ferme de l'Abbaye de Moulins.
