Parking at the Auberge du Moenkalb (RD 67140, Barr).
(S/E) Take the paved road that winds uphill. You will see blue and red rings on the rocks. At the shooting range (on your right), continue straight ahead.
(1) At the Buchenberg crossroads, take the middle road (a large green and white sign on the ground indicates a private forest road). Follow the blue signs towards the Émile Muller-Apffel crossroads.
At the Muller-Apffel crossroads, take the road towards the Jadelot kiosk (red crosses).
Be careful, it's a bit of a climb. If you look carefully, you will be able to see Andlau Castle (on the left).
And it gets steeper.
(2) Cross the road, take the path opposite and follow the red crosses.
After the climb, you will see a sign for "Sentier des Chameaux". Turn right and follow the blue triangles towards Heiligenstein / Moenkalb / Barr.
This is where you will find the markers.
(3) When you reach this crossroads, leave the Sentier des Chameaux and go up to the left towards Landsberg Castle.
Allow 5 minutes there and 5 minutes back.
Follow the signs for "Entrée" and cross the large square. Head towards the entrance.

(4) Go back down the same path: follow the blue ring signs towards Rocher Herrade
Rocher Herrade. Cross the path again. Go down opposite and follow the blue discs.
(3) Back on the Sentier des Chameaux, turn left and follow the blue triangles.
More markers await you. The path will be lined with pine trees.
(5) Go to Rocher Herrade and return to the trail. You will find a sign for "Sentier géologique" (Geological Trail).
Follow the blue triangle signs.
(6) Follow the red rectangle signs on the right and you will arrive at a small kiosk. Below is a fountain.
Follow the blue ring markings towards the Maison Forestière du Moenkalb (back on the geological trail). Descend following the red rectangles with white stripes. When you reach the meadow, take the path on your right.
The finish (S/E) is on the side of the inn and the Moenkalb pond.
