At the Muller-Apffel junction, head up the path towards the Jadelot Kiosk (Red Cross).
Be careful, it’s a bit of a climb. If you look out, you’ll be able to see Andlau Castle (on the left).
And it’s a climb.
(2) Cross the road, take the path opposite and follow the Red Cross.
After the climb, you’ll find a sign for the “Sentier des Chameaux”. Turn right and follow the Blue Triangles towards Heiligenstein / Moenkalb / Barr.
This is where you’ll find the signposts.
(3) When you reach this crossroads, leave the Sentier des Chameaux and head up to the left, towards Landsberg Castle.

Rocher Herrade. Cross the path again. Head down the opposite way and follow the Blue Discs.
(3) Back on the Sentier des Chameaux, turn left and follow the Blue Triangles.
More signposts await you. The path will be lined with pine trees.
(5) Go and see Rocher Herrade and return to the path. You will find a sign for the “Geological Trail”.
Follow the Blue Triangle markings.
(6) Follow the Red Rectangle markings to the right and arrive at the small kiosk. Below is a fountain.
Follow the Blue Ring markings towards the Moenkalb Forest House (back on the geological trail). Head down following the Red Rectangles crossed with White. When you reach the meadow, take the path on your right.
