Parking available at the Musée de la Folie Marco car park.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow Chemin du Gaensbroennel towards the church and arrive at the corner of the cemetery.
(1) Follow the path that climbs to the right through the vineyards to Kirchberg. After a left turn, you will reach a crossroads.
(2) Continue straight ahead on the path (marked with a blue ring and green disc) climbing steadily until you reach a crossroads at a place called Bannholz (signposted).
(3) Follow the path on the left (marked with a red ring and yellow disc), then, at the next crossroads in the bend, turn right and continue to the next crossroads.
(4) Leave the Red Ring path on your left and follow the Red Cross markings on your right towards Stephansberg. Atthe first fork, turn left, then left again at the next fork until you reach the crossroads at Stephansberg.
(5) Turn left (Anneau Rouge signpost) to reach the Tollenloch Forest House further on. Cross the D854 with caution and continue opposite, cross the bridge over the Kirneck stream, then turn right onto the path marked with red and yellow signs. Keep to the right in the forest or on the edge, staying close to the stream. You will come to a junction with a path marked with red and white signs shortly before Holzplatz.
(6) Please note that this path, which branches off to the left between the trees, is not very visible. If you miss it, continue for about 100 metres. Join a wider path (marked with a green ring and blue disc) and follow it to the left. After a 90° left turn, it leads to the Auberge and the Hungerplatz car park.
(7) Follow the path that branches off to the left, with your back to the inn (marked with a red ring, blue triangle and red saltire). Ignore the paths to the right or left until you reach the junction with the Sainte-Anne Chapel path marked with a blue cross.
(8) There are two options:
1) Turn right towards Andlau Castle, following the path marked with a red ring and blue triangle. After your visit, rejoin the route by following the path marked with a red ring and red saltire, which crosses the path to the chapel.
2) Follow the path on the left towards the chapel, then continue to the next crossroads (route shown on the map).
(9) Continue towards the chapel (marked with a blue cross) until you reach a junction with the Discovery Trail.
(10) Continue straight ahead eastwards on the Sentier de Découverte (marked with a blue cross) and ignore the next two paths on the right. You will reach a bend in a wide forest path.
(11) Turn left (still following the blue cross markings) onto Eckweg. A few hundred metres further on, leave Eckweg and follow the street to the left (red rectangle and blue cross markings) which leads back to Barr at the junction with the D362.
(12) Turn left along Rue Rotland (red rectangleGR®5sign) and continue straight ahead northwards along Rue Taufflieb, then Rue des Boulangers and Rue de l'Église. Finally, take the stairs to reach the church, then the circular junction at the corner of the cemetery.
(1) Turn right to return to the car park at the start (S/E).
