Description of the walk

Start from the information board at the foot of the church in Candresse.

(S/E) Head towards the path that winds between the church and the houses.
Walk through the agricultural area to reach the Hinx communal forest.

(1) Turn right and follow the Péborde road, passing under the power lines.

(2) Shortly afterwards, turn left and continue along the same Péborde road.

(3) Pass Péborde and continue to the second crossroads.

(4) Turn left onto Route du Bastarot and continue on the left towards Pourra at the three-way junction.

(5) At the junction with the D58, turn left towards the port of Hinx (E).

Notes

Coming from Candresse, park in the small car park opposite the church and cemetery.
Coming from Hinx, park at the old port near the information sign not far from the D58.

Please note that this section of the Sentier de l'Adour trail follows many roads.

Worth a visit

Don't hesitate to approach the river at the port to see an old ferry (a boat that was once used to cross the river).
