Circular in the Alzen National Forest, starting from Sahuc, passing by the Sainte-Croix Chapel and the Col de l'Homme. Cross beautiful forests to reach the Alzen plateau and its many hamlets and farms.

After a steady climb through the forest, the Cabane de la Devèze offers a welcome rest stop before tackling the last demanding section leading to the ridge. The path along this vast ridge offers exceptional views of the Haute Ariège as well as the sites of Foix and Tarascon-sur-Ariège. After the Picou, the return journey is via the Route Forestière du Calmil, where you can rest from the efforts of the climb while admiring the magnificent trees that populate it.

A pleasant, easy hike from the Col de Port, in a magnificent setting combining forest, stream, picnic area and views of the Pyrenees. Not very busy except at the pass.

A short, easy Sunday hike (500 m elevation gain) leading to Pic de Razels (1,600 m) with a magnificent 360° view. After a winding climb, you reach the ridge, which you follow to the left through a pretty wood to the peak. Lovely views all along the way.

This is a beautiful hike accessible from the Col de Port, offering magnificent views of the Pyrenees mountain range, from Saint-Barthélémy in the east to Mont Valier and beyond in the west. After a fairly short climb to Pic d'Estibat, the hardest part is over, as the rest of the route continues in a circular fashion along a beautiful ridge before descending through woods and returning on the north side via a pretty valley past the Estibat hut. A peaceful walk through a small village, between fields, woods and village paths, easily accessible from the greenway. A circular route with easy parking in front of the village school/town hall.

This hike is located in the hills above Serres-sur-Arget. It leads to the Fautils pastures and Cap de la Grésale, the highest point of this loop, at 1,112 metres. Most of the route is through forest with wide views of the Séronais, the Pays de Foix, the Massif de Tabe and the Massif de l'Arize. Marked in yellow and very well signposted.

Le Mas-d'Azil is a site rich in prehistoric remains. This trail takes in three very well-preserved dolmens, while offering a fine view of the Ariège Pyrenees and surrounding hills.

In the heart of nature, through the forest of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Nature Park, climb the ridge from Lescure to Rimont and overlook the Little Pyrenees with a magnificent view of Mont Valier and the Montcalm massif. This circuit provides access to the dry stone hamlet of Les Orris. It is a magnificent pastoral village, used for summer grazing, set in lush green surroundings opposite the Pic des Trois Seigneurs. The hamlet of Les Goutets was used from the 1800s until around 1950.

A short family walk offering 180° views of the Couserans mountains, including Vallier, for almost the entire route. Most of the walk is along a very quiet road. It is best to do this walk in the morning to avoid the mountains being in silhouette.

A beautiful hike on the Plantaurel massif which, from the village of Monfa, will take you on well-marked trails with beautiful climbs to discover surprising local habitats, beautiful views, the Roc du Cor, the Les Moulis Ecomuseum, the hamlet of Camarde, and the Couminge dolmen. You may see herds of geese, sheep, goats, donkeys and horses.

This peak at the gateway to the Pyrenees, 1 hour from Toulouse, offers a magnificent panorama of the 3000-metre peaks (Montcalm, Pic d'Estats). The hike is a little challenging, but the varied landscapes (streams, ponds, meadows, peaks) more than make up for the effort. There are no real technical difficulties, apart from the need to use your hands occasionally on certain sections of the ascent or descent.

This hike takes place mainly on agricultural and forest tracks with beautiful views of the Pyrenean foothills. Contrazy is a hamlet that you will only discover when you see the sign, as it is nestled in its green surroundings. Beautiful renovated farms, a remarkable church, a street decorated with flowers. On the way back, don't miss the unusual Notre-Dame de la Goutte chapel in Montardit.

Starting from the Contrac car park in Rabat-les-Trois-Seigneurs, this is an accessible circular route with beautiful sights along the way.After the first climb, you will reach the architectural structure "Le Monolithe", created by students from the Toulouse School of Architecture: an unusual seat with a view over the valley. Then enjoy the panorama from the ruins of the ancient Cathar castle of La Roche Ronde, before finally descending past the Calamès Cave and its climbing site.

A beautiful circular starting from the small village of Gourbit. You will pass through Artax, then Pic de Bassibié and Pic de Pioulou, before descending to the Étangs Bleus de la Courbière via the Col de la Couillate. Finally, the hike ends at the Cirque d'Embans, the Cabane d'Embanels and then a climb back up to the village of Gourbit.
