At the roundabout, head towards Saint-Caprais and immediately on the right you will find a small car park with a pizza hut.
(S/E) Go to the nearby passage to the south, towards the church. Take it to the right towards the Garonne. Cross the street, continue to the end and turn right along the Garonne. You will come to a crossroads with four paths.
(1) Take the path that starts on your left and continue along the Garonne on your left. Cross a small footbridge. You will find a staircase on your right. Before climbing it, enjoy the lovely view of the Garonne. Climb the stairs and you will arrive at the playground.
(2) Go around it on the left. You will come to a main path.
(3) Follow the path on the left that leads to a footbridge. Cross the Garonne via the footbridge.
(4) At the bottom of the footbridge, turn left towards Beauzelle.
(5) When you reach the bridge, continue straight ahead on the path that passes underneath it. Follow it to the end.
You will arrive at Chemin de Bouscassié. There is a picnic area on the banks of the Garonne. After walking up Chemin Bouscassié for a few metres, you will find a public fountain on the right.
(6) Take the path that starts immediately on the left. Follow this winding path, ignoring the paths that start on the right.
(7) Before the road (Allée des Tricheries), take the small tarmac path on the right. At the end, turn left, then go through the roundabout and take the cycle path that runs alongside Chemin de la Vieille Côte. You will arrive at a protected crossing with traffic lights.
(8) Cross carefully, then take the path that starts on the right. Follow it along the Ausonnelle and you will come back to the Passerelle de la Garonne bridge you crossed on the way there.
(4) Cross the bridge, then turn right onto the path and head back to the playground you passed on the way there.
(3) Continue straight ahead on the tarmac path, passing a car park on your left. Continue along the tarmac path and turn right after 50 metres.
(9) Turn right onto the path leading to Gagnac. You will come to the crossroads of paths you passed on the way there.
(1) Follow the path to the left and cross Rue de la Hire. On the wall opposite, a plaque indicates the height of the 1875 flood.
(10) Turn right to walk on the pavement on the left and return to the car park where you started (S/E).
