Landscape Art Trail in Saint-Michel-de-Chabrillanoux
This landscape art trail, centred on the theme of vibrant and joyful nature, is the work of the Foyer des Jeunes et d’Éducation Populaire (FJEP) of Saint-Michel-de-Chabrillanoux and Saint-Maurice-en-Chalencon.
Works by volunteer artists and craftspeople enhance this pleasant walk, which ends at the Pont de Vaneilles, a recently restored bridge. Sculptures are dotted along the route, each accompanied by a haiku (a short poem).
The art trail starts at the l’Arcade bar-restaurant in the centre of the village of Saint-Michel-de-Chabrillanoux. It winds its way down past the Le Chabrioux campsite and takes you 2 km to the old Vaneilles Bridge and its hut, a designated picnic spot. Enjoy the stunning views of the Vercors and a largely shaded walk!
