Park on Boulevard Pierre Plane, near Parc Canet. To get there, follow Rue des Écoles and Avenue du Maréchal Leclerc in Bandol.
(S/E) Head south-east and go up Boulevard George Clemenceau. Turn right onto Avenue du Maréchal Foch.
(1) After about 50 metres, turn left to access the beach. Retrace your steps.
(1) Continue along Avenue du Maréchal Foch. At the fork, turn left onto Avenue AlbertIer.
(2) Turn left onto Rue du Languedoc towards Pointe Encanet. Go around the tennis courts on the left and continue along the coastal path.
(3) You will come out onto Avenue Georges V. Follow it to the left. At the end, the avenue continues as a carriageway. Continue straight ahead, following the coast. Then descend towards Plage de l'Anglaise and go up to a roundabout.
(4) Go up Avenue du Littoral on the right. At the roundabout, turn right onto Boulevard des Graviers. After a few hundred metres, follow the road as it turns right and continue for another ten metres or so.
(5) Turn left onto Rue de Champagne and cross the bridge over the railway line. Turn right onto Rue du Soudan.
(6) At the bottom of the road, turn left onto Rue de Madagascar, which becomes Chemin du Roustagnon after about 100 metres. You will arrive at a barrier blocking your way.
(7) Turn right onto the path that climbs towards the top of Roustagnon. At a fork, take the left path. At the top, the path becomes flatter; keep left. Pass a cistern and ignore the paths on the right. At a crossroads (elevation 146), turn left, keep heading north-west and go around the houses on the left.
(8) At the intersection, take the path on the left that descends. Continue downhill and follow the golf course. You will come to a small building on your right.
(9) Turn right (south-southwest) onto a path that is not easy to find and climbs steeply. Continue to the right, following the golf course. You will also be following the railway line on your left. On your left, the fence will give way to a path that descends steeply; take it. The path becomes very narrow in the trees. You will come to a barrier, which you should pass through.
(10) Take the tunnel under the railway line on the left. At the end, turn left again. Climb a steep path, the coastal path. Keep heading south along the sea.
(11) Begin a difficult descent at Pointe des Engraviers, where caution is advised. Walk along the beach and take the steps in front of you. Climb up again on red soil. Go around the port of Athéna on your left. Continue left, then right over a bridge spanning a private road. Walk along the Athéna residence on your left, protected by a wire fence. The cement track ends at a path running alongside houses. Continue to the roundabout.
(4) Turn right towards Plage de l'Anglaise. Go up the path and continue along Avenue Georges V.
(3) After the two restaurants, turn right. Walk along the tennis courts on your right.
(2) Turn right onto Avenue AlbertIer. Continue along Avenue du Maréchal Foch.
(1) Continue straight ahead, then turn left onto Boulevard George Clemenceau. This will take you to the car park (S/E).
