Departure from the village of Roussayrolles, car park near the cemetery.
(S/E) Take the Chemin des Nougayrols, continue straight ahead at the crossroads to cross the mossy forest and join a road that runs alongside the Ruisseau de la Laussière.
(1) Take the road on the right to cross the stream, then immediately turn onto a path on the right that runs alongside the stream to reach the hamlet of Laussière.
(2) Cross the stream again and continue along the right bank until you reach the junction with theGR® de Pays (GRP®) Cordes-Penne-Coustous (yellow and red markings).
(3) Turn right and then, immediately afterwards, leave theGRP® and continue straight ahead on a steep path. This path, which actually cuts across a circular loop made by theGRP®, rejoins it further on.
(4) Turn left onto theGRP® and, shortly afterwards, take a path on the right (marked by a cairn) to see a tumulus (ancient burial mound).
(5) Join theGRP® on the left and follow it on the right to continue along the ridges with beautiful views. Arrive at Pas de la Clède.
(6) Turn left onto theGRP® until you reach a crossroads. Leave theGRP® here and continue straight ahead towards La Peyrière (intercommunal path: this is part of the Grésinola). Ignore two paths on the right and continue to La Peyrière.
(7) At the exit of the hamlet, turn left onto a path that descends. At the bottom, cross a small road, then shortly afterwards, turn right and then left. At the crossroads with a wide path, continue straight ahead to reach a small road. Continue straight ahead on the path, which soon leads to a road at a cross. Follow this road on the left to reach Saint-Michel-de-Vax.
(8) At the end of the village, turn left onto the first small road, then right onto a path, then left again onto a track. At the next crossroads, turn left to reach the D91.
(9) Follow this road on the left for a few metres, then turn left onto a path. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead until you reach the Peyralade road. Follow this road on the left, passing a cross.
(10) Continue along the road. Further on, ignore two small roads on the right to reach the crossroads and the start of the circular route.
(1) Retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
Good climb between 3 and 4. For the dolmen, you have to guess the path, especially to leave it. Thank goodness for the trail, which helped me throughout the journey because the markings aren't great. Other encounters more pleasant than the wild boar included a deer leaping through the wheat and a hare. Quite a few points of interest along the route, ruins, wash houses, villages, beautiful houses, landscapes, old oak trees, etc. In short, a good day.
