Description of the walk

From the Pastore refuge, return to the small covered bridge and follow trail No. 7, which quickly joins the path towards Colle del Turlo (T.M.R.). After a pleasant stretch through the forest, this ancient Roman road, perfectly paved, leads us easily to the Turlo Pass in a chaotic setting. The descent from the pass, also paved for a long stretch, takes you to the Lanti bivouac, then Quarazza after skirting the Quarezzolo torrent. At the Lago delle Fate dam, head towards Isella, then Macugnaga.

Markings: T.M.R. (Tour du Mont Rose).
